I'm on r63079. I was noticing today in AV, that in raids, certain players wouldn't have their auras showing properly on the raid frames. Eg. On both my priest and my pally, I buffed the entire raid. I have buff filtering enabled so only priest/pally buffs would show, respectively.
Yet some players wouldn't show anything. The players that were affected seemed to be random - although consistent from raid to raid. Eg. Same raid position, but sparse across the raid. If I actually targeted them, the target frame would show the proper auras, but not in the raid frames. Any ideas?
Edit: Just noticed the other post on the Pitbull Auras rewrite. I posted a bug in Jira with details.

I think the more important question is - is it affecting your fps?
Well written mods that gather a lot of data are inevitably going to take up a lot of memory. This is only a problem if you can see your framerate being adversely affected.
I know that Assessment can occupy a crapton of memory if you want it to. But I've made special attention the whole way through the mod to minimize CPU impact.
There is a significant stutter when I log onto a character with > 5MB of Recount memory usage. This stutter takes up to 5-10s. I'm not sure what it's doing there. Also there were stutters at the end of every combat, sometimes periodically during combat. I would have to clear the data in my Recount (usually around 10MB) and all my FPS drop spikes would cease. So yeah, I'd say it is affecting FPS. Not on a consistent basis, but periodically.
I have however noticed that one of the more recent checkins has sought to resolve the "Leaving Combat" performance. I'll let my Recount run for a while tonight in Kara and see how it performs.

I've noticed a huge increase in memory usage in recent releases, almost 5mb difference
I've noticed this too. It seems to also be taking a good bit of processing time too as my machine is no slouch (8800GTX and E6700) and it stutters a good bit until I clear all the data. This has only started to get worse with the more recent releases.
Jun 2, 2007I have the latest rev 38036. While I don't notice the lag when someone joins or leaves or gets moved in a group as much, I have been noticing a significant amount of lag when entering and leaving combat. It causes a severe stutter. About a 1-2s delay on my machine. My machine's no slouch either. At the moment it's consuming 5.16MB of addon memory.Posted in: Unit Frames

It was working fine for my druid alt the other night.
Hm.. Are you using the latest versions as well? Wonder what the differences are. If you copy your SavedVariables for PitBull and RatingBuster out to another folder temporarily, can you check if it still works, for the latest versions of both addons?
I checked the SavedVariables for any storage of my character names and it doesn't store it in either file. So I'm not sure what's so specific about the priest and druid for me that makes it break. And this is a brand new druid too from scratch.
May 25, 2007So I decided to see what was going on whether this was class specific or not. Initially I thought maybe it was the fact that the first time I configured Pitbull on my machine it was on my Priest. To test that theory, I went through all my characters (I have one of each class - except a druid) and sure enough none of those classes have issues with RatingBuster and Pitbull together. So my theory held so far... but I hadn't tried a druid yet.Posted in: Unit Frames
So I wound up creating a druid character. On logging in, RatingBuster was no longer working alongside Pitbull. So it appears that so far, there are two classes that seem to be afflicted with this:
If someone has a priest or druid that has these two addons working together, please post to refute my claim. Otherwise, is there something special that Pitbull might be doing with these classes? I'll play with the Pitbull modules and see if I can narrow it down further in the meantime.

May 24, 2007_ForgeUser302327 posted a message on Pitbull - Is there a way to configure health text on Player pet?My topic says it all. I'd like to configure the health text on the Player pet. Also other frames like Target of Target and Party pets. I'm not quite sure why I don't have those features in the config menu.Posted in: Unit Frames
I tend to like to keep my pet bars fairly small and currently it seems to default to the big informational style so that it doesn't really fit inside the bar to show anything meaningful.

Same here. RatingBuster dosnt work on my Druid with Pitbull enabled but fine on my Warrior or Paladin. Same goes for Quartz. To get it to work on my druid, i have to log out, disable Pitbull, log in, log out and enable Pitbull. Very strange...
Hm I'll have to try that.
May 24, 2007Hey,Posted in: Unit Frames
I removed all addons except PitBull (r36695) and RatingBuster (r35949.1012). I know that this RatingBuster version is working with AGUF. But not with PitBull. When I disable PitBull, RatingBuster displays stats as usual. When I enable PitBull, no RB stats show up in any item window. Also, there are no errors to report (Display LUA errors was enabled).
I'm not sure which addon is having the issue, but I figure I'd post it here in case there's anything to look into on the PitBull end.
May 23, 2007_ForgeUser302327 posted a message on AGUF 36399.1001 - Default Blizzard target frame appearingI was able to change targets. For me, the default Blizzard target frame, when it appears will be stuck to whoever you had last targeted upon zoning. It will be stuck to that person until you do /reloadui or zone again without a target selected. But when I changed targets, the AGUF target frame would update properly, but it'd be mostly obscured by the Blizzard target frame. Least that was the case for me.Posted in: Unit Frames
