Hey all, with BulkMail2 working wonderfully and the 2.3 changes to mailing in place I got rid of CT_MailMod, which leaves me with only one thing from the CTmod.net folks... not that it's not a decent addon, but one less place to update would be great... Here's what I use from CT_Core, I'm hoping someone can point me to an Ace addon or addons that will replace these features without any sort of real overhead or bloat...
*Relocate chat input box to top of frame.
*Show and relocate tooltip anchor.
*Show and relocate quest tracker anchor.
*Display timestamp in chat.
That's right, just four items :P I'd appreciate if someone can gimme a clue.

Oct 24, 2007I've been looking for an excuse to learn LUA, I may have to take this on... I just realized after selling my rabbit's feet (:P) that anytime we update the addon using WAU it's going to overwrite sell.lua and thus any items we've added to the list of exclusions at the top of the file. I will see if I can't come up with something to track those items in a saved variable and deal with the other loot qualities as well.Posted in: General AddOns
Thanks for the reply, even if it wasn't what I was hoping for :P
Oct 24, 2007Could you perhaps look in to the capacity to add a list of white, green and other items to the sell.lua module? The ability to filter grays is great, and allows me to use this in place of Autoprofit/AutoprofitX for basic functionality, but Autoprofit also allowed the selling of non-gray items once they were specified. Essentially it checked every item against its 'exception' list. If a gray item was on the list it didn't get sold, if a non-gray item was on the list it would get sold. Not sure how well that logic would fit in to the code you've already written, but it would make the product complete for me. Great job, btw, just used it for the first time today and it already saved me clicking a bunch of duel declines and prevented me from wasting time realizing I was still in cat or bear form when clicking a quest object. Thanks!Posted in: General AddOns
Oct 10, 2007And to make things even more of a pain in the butt the folks working on Auctioneer have released their preview version of Auctioneer Advanced. While all the tooltip stuff works fine, their new CompactUI I believe replaces the original auction browsing frames and as a consequence coloring of the recipe icons based on learnability or knowledge no longer functions. I truly wish I had any coding skills at all, I would be happy to look at tackling this problem, but I don't, so I can only beg that someone take a peek at what needs be done to make coloration happen again. It was a feature I truly loved, but the new CompactUI layout for Auctioneer is better for everything else...so...Posted in: General AddOns
Sep 16, 2007A search for 'Arkinventory' and 'Wardrobe' returned no results, so I'm asking for help here:Posted in: General AddOns
I use Wardrobe, though I may switch to ClosetGnome after reading some of its features, but for now I'd like to achieve the same integration possible with the latter using Wardrobe. I attempted to create a rule entering the text 'outfit(DPS)' in to the rule body then assigning the rule to a slot, sure enough my DPS outfit items are still listed in the main bag...
Does Wardrobe use the outfit() function (one of the posts in the thread indicated that all outfit/wardrobe type addons would use this function...) or is there a different one? Is there something wrong with my understanding of the rule text?
