Okay, I'm close to a version fit for release now.

Here's a preview of the updating process (which WILL be made smoother, but I aim for a quick release rather than waiting until everything's 100%):

Very nice, can't wait to try it!

none of my nothing is updating, i guess they broke everything except their own updaters.
Looks like it, not that I blame them... Just sucks for us end users that get half their addons from Curse and the other half from WOWI. I guess the Curse updater works OK for their stuff but I'm not real impressed with the WOWI one. LOL, looks like I get to spend the day screwing with my favorites list on WOWI.

Sorry but Im way too lazy to read through all 97 pages ;) Im just wondering if there are a Nquest version being developed that supports the Wowhead comments on each quest?
I believe nquestlog works with Lightheaded, which supplies the Wowhead comments.

Most of the 'fixes' people have been posting for QuestsFu (even though I had fixed it very shortly after patch 3.0.2 but left it as an alpha) have been extremely wrong and just plain so fucked up I don't think they have any clue how to program in Lua. So be careful of any nQuestLog 'fixes' people are posting in comments.

I just checked, use this version. http://www.wowace.com/projects/n-quest-log/files/657-r194/
DO NOT USE ANY ALPHA LATER THAN r194! The repo got raped by an idiot that has no fucking clue how to use SVN and has been banned from WowAce/CurseForge.

I also just marked the r194 zip as a beta so it should show up on Curse soon.
While this may be true, the fix I chose worked without any side effects. Short of dumping the whole addon (I'm not an LUA coder) the 'fix' saved the package for me. That said, I agree it's definately "buyer beware" when taking coding fixes for any mod in a comments section.

Are there any other addons this could be? I don't use Fubar_QuestsFu. I use Cartographer Quests, and nquestlog - is it specific to quest related addons?
nquestlog has a bug which causes the error messages to be suppressed. On the curse comments section for nquestlog a user has posted a fix which worked for me.

    Version 1.3.4 is up:
    - Fixed Power provider to display power regeneration in real time
    - Fixed ComboPoints module bug
    - Default Focus frame can now be hidden in configuration window
    - Fixed bug in buffs/debuffs spells database
Awesome! Thank you for the quick fix, the lack of combo points was driving me mad.
