That's nice. I'd expect a beta to at least work a little bit - enough to test. Currently, the mac beta does not work. At All.
Wait. The data collection mod probably does work. I would gladly pay for premium service, and allow data mining on my computer for an app that actually provided some utility. For now though, curseclient for the mac is a time sink. i.e., I download it, see if it works, then delete it - and the crap it leaves behind.
And for one who completely missed the poll on site ads vs. merge with curse, i think the result is horrendous. Coulda made a mint with ads and left wowace intact imo. Curse has never been liked by the wow community. Why bring them in. No need to bring profiteering into the mix. All the same, I appreciate the time and effort of all the ppl who make the mods we use day in and day out.
I suspect that the "new millions" will slow and eventually halt updates on great mods and libraries, leaving it up to a new batch of coders to write and update our mods.
More than anything, the old wowace svn was a way to distribute free software. Authors wanted ppl to see what they had written, download it, and use it. The svn did that. Curse, while the mods are free, makes you navigate through page after page to download the mods you used to keep updated with one click. I suspect though that that is the intention. To make downloads easier through the purchase of some software...
I should say this. Wowace was a phenomena. I doubt if there has ever been such a public collaboration driven by nothing more than a game. Wowace was awesome. Curse Blows.
And lastly... what replaces wowace? Curseforge? Curse? or Wowinterface? None of them even remotely offer what wowace did. Whether i wanted to move my unitframe, find a mod that would burp when I blinked or had questions about the arguments for ReportPlayerIsPVPAFK, wowace was the place to go. So far, I don't see anything that even comes close to replacing it.
Blah Blah Blah... sorry for the rant.

If so, I know of this mixing up, but I can't fix it. It's the way SBC handles suffixes that causes this (I think). Fortress doesn't have this problem for example.

Nov 17, 2008When I toggle between % and points with haste, hit, etc., % and points get mixed up. E.g., 118 % haste with 6.46 pts. Also, any text added is lost after a toggle or two.Posted in: Data Broker AddOns

The reason I think the parenting/anchoring isn't working is because when I reposition the anchor, i.e., to Top Left, Top Left, the panel ends up in the top left of my screen not the top left of the focus frame.Quote from Seerah »
What gives you the idea that it's parented to UI parent? Is it showing all of the time?
With regard to the scripts, I put them in to make the panel show. I couldn't get it to show without them, but I deleted them and it does show now. Thank you.
May 28, 2008I'm having some trouble making a panel for my focus in pitbull. I can get the frame to show/hide depending on focus exist, but I can't get it to parent/anchor to the focus frame. It appears to be anchored to the UIParent. I have my parent and anchor set to PitBullUnitFrame6 (the focus frame) and these scripts in OnLoad and OnEvent.Posted in: General AddOns

May 14, 2008Since the patch, Poppins has been acting strangely. At first there was a problem with Buttonfacade. I couldn't get to the config screen at all. There was an error concerning Poppins and button facade, but a reinstall with deletion of the saved var files for both mods fixed that. Now my problem is with configuring it. If I make 2 buttons they have different spacing between the popbuttons. If I make 5 buttons the 1st 2 have odd spacing while the last 3 look fine. Also the direction doesn't seem to have any effect. And something else strange, Poppins is interacting with the chat frame. When I unlock the poppins buttons, they are colored to indicate that they're unlocked. So is the chat frame. It's colored purple and red like it was dragable. This is a great mod:)Posted in: AddOn HELP!

I currently use Grid for healing in raid (holy paladin). I want to switch to using pitbull, I have an idea of what I want the frames to look like. I really like this:
Is it possible to make the pitbull raid frames like the bars on the left, maybe with a smaller scale, and also could I make it a 5 columns by 5 rows setup as opposed to just stacking vertically.
I'm also trying to configure a similar layout. The problem I'm having is with the Group # text over each group. I'd like to be able to specify font, size, and position for it or eliminate it altogether. I still want the raid separated into groups though.
