New skinner borders and background textures, new CyCircled skins and custom minimap borders :)
That looks pretty sweet, but it seems like you're wasting a lot of space at the top. Is that full-body 3D model of you character at the bottom an addon or is it just part of your viewport background?
Dotimer (far right, near minimap cluster) I need since I use that a lot to track hots. I thought about using classtimer bars and placing them above the player frame like so many other layouts. I use icon form of dotimer since I can't change it's bars to match texture and font as it's not at ace mod, so it won't use shared media. But I really like dotimer so much better than any other timer bar out there (dotimer has a sound notifications, this is how I have almost 100% uptime on hots on MTs/OTs).
Suggestions and thoughts wanted! Thanks :)
Wouldn't Grid be sufficient for that? The only thing I have assigned to the bottom-left corner in Grid is my Renew. And I reapply the HoT when the little green dot disappears.
I guess if you want to cast renew a couple seconds before the old one runs out, that's no help... but since renew only ticks every few seconds, I don't think there'd be a noticeable difference.
EDIT: Oops, I completely overlooked the part about the sound notification. I find myself staring at Grid all the time so I don't need any outside notification. CooldownTimers 2 comes to mind with its Pulse feature (spell icon flashes in the middle of the screen and makes a heartbeat sound when CD is up). However, I'm not sure if it can track duration of spells on targets like you want. I only checked it out for a couple hours and can't remember the options.
Very informative writeup! I'd been wondering about the various raid-marking mods. I bookmarked your blog; I hope you continue to post more add-on comparisons.
You really really really need your own site for layouts. There are so many themes that people have made but it is so cumbersome to come to wowace.com and look at their crappy forums and the PAGES of oh dude thats cool where can I get that, as apposed to a topic for each layout, how to do it, etc.
I really don't care how well the site is put togethor, it just needs to have some forums for Pitbull suggestions, support, themes, etc. the typical forums for a mod.
I agree it'd be great to have a repository for Pitbull codes. This thread is great for discussion, but it's not efficient in respect to sharing layouts and codes.
There had been some interest in a code for my unit frames but I have been caught up in a school work and exams over a past month and I haven't had much time for WoW related stuff. The issue with DogTags I have mentioned before has been resolved. There are however few things you should know about before you decide use this layout.
Oakayam, I'm not using your layout as I'm trying to make my own. But a million thanks for posting that in-depth write-up. It's helped me better figure out how to tweak settings to get my own desired effects.
I posted this in the Pitbull thread, but it's already gotten buried there. I thought I may have more luck posting in its own thread.
I disabled the raid module in favor of PerfectRaid (because of this bug in Pitbull's raid frames). But now Pitbull is showing a 5-man party frames whenever I'm in a raid, which I don't want.
I have "Hide Party Frames in Raid" checked under the "Other" options in Party. Is there anything else I'm missing?
To be clear: I still want to use Pitbull for 5-man party frames, just not raid. And I don't want any party frames showing up when I am in a raid.
Baud Consumables - Hasn't been updated in a while, but it's so easy to update the file with new items. RareFinder - When you mouseover a rare mob, it makes an auction house ding sound and prints a message in your error frame and chat log.
It sounds like you have a status assigned to the health bar with a higher priority than unit health.
Each indicator can only show one status at a time. If you go into the advanced frame options, you can enable 'health bar color' as an additional indicator so that you can show aggro (or any other status with a color) without affecting the health bar value.
Thanks for the quick and helpful responses! That must've been it. I had Offline/Dead/Out of Range assigned to health bar as well as the health bar color by accident.
These unit frames have made my healing so much more efficient.

I've seen that, but I'm having this problem with Pitbull's raid frames which is why I switched to PerfectRaid.

Are your Player/Target frames Pitbull? If so, would you mind sharing the code? I really like the look of it.
I'm also wondering what raidframes you're using in the top left corner...
