Hey lilsparky, i've got an interesting .... issue that only alchemists would have to deal with. It's not really a 'bug' per say, but check this out. I've got some primals in my inventory, let's say I have a couple primal life. I jump over to engineering and queue up something that uses a primal of any type. Skillet tries to then use alchemy to convert my primal into whatever primal i need, so my queue ends up having 10 transmutes at the top of it. While this is true... transmutes have a 23 hour cooldown, so it's not very helpful to try and use transmutes to get a craftable reagent. Not sure what you can do about this, but it get's more and more annoying if you queue up something that requires multiple primals of various types - i could end up with 20 or 30 transmutes in my queue before anything else.

no, and wowaceupter will be no more soon enough

There are more reasons that wowaceupdater to put addons on the wowace svn - some people use direct svn access to update addons, and a lot of peoeple (everyone who doesn't run windows) use other updaters than the wowaceupdater - so having this up on wowace's svn would surly help. Regardless of that, what do you mean that wowaceupdater will be no more? I haven't seen that said anywhere. If it has I must have missed it.

On the naming convention topic, i'd vote for Skillet2 (makes it easier to find) and trunk it. That let's people happy with normal skillet to continue as they have, and those of us that want a better addon to use skillet2. ;)

Hey lilsparky, not sure if this has been mentioned - i haven't seen anybody mention it that is - but i've got a small bug regarding the shopping list and alts. My herbalist and alchemist are different toons now (which is a hassle) but when i queue up some pots on the alchemist and switch over to the herbalist and open up the shopping list, the counts are wrong. They are not taking into consideration anything the alchemist has in his bags. I know you had re-written most of the inventory coding, wasn't sure if it wasn't fully implemented yet or the shopping list just isn't plugged into it. hope this isn't to confusing to read

using the newest version, things are looking good! the copy/paste stuff on mac os x is a little buggy, but i eventually got a group the way i wanted it. only other thing i've noticed is now some default keybinds are being blocked by skillet - for example escape won't close skillet anymore, or anything else for that matter while skillet is up. Also, i think at one point with skillet up i hit the 'b' key and it was selecting and deselecting the entire recipe list, not sure why.

keep up the good work man!

again, was going to post something to try and explain some things, but Rangor's post enforces the fact that people don't read it anyway, and trying to explain it would just further the argument, which isn't what i want.

I was going to type more of an explanation of what i was going for, but i know it'll be pointless. Not because nobody would read it, just because it wouldn't change anything. It boggles my mind that 1) a replacement/new version of babble was written, yet not everything was update, and 2) new versions typically are written to improve some part of a program, and if this is the case, why someone isn't more heavy-handed in making people use the most up to date recent iteration of a library. All this does is hurt the users of the community, which can't be a good goal to strive towards. Yes addons still use it. Should addons still use it? if what i've read is true, no. Should babble 3 be more complete? probably, i have no idea, it's not mine. i don't know why it isn't as complete as 2.2. All i know is as a user, for me to have what i want, i'm forced to have two complete instances of babble - 24 libraries in all, when 10 probably would suffice. doesn't make much sense to me. I know the answer i'll probably get back is 'that's the way things are' or 'you can try to contact addon authors to update their mods.' Doesn't help too much.

Hey, as of 2.4.2 or whatever libparser (for good reasons) was killed if i was reading correctly. Let's keep it up! Can we kill babble 2.2 and force people to switch to babble 3? I remember reading so many 'this is depreciated and shouldn't be used' messages on so many libraries, so why are they still hanging around? Let's get stuff up to date so people like me don't have to have two full versions of all the babble modules running!

posted a message on Poppins - Official Thread
Updated poppins through an updater (jwowupdater to be specific) and since i run with disembedded libs (no externals) when i got into WoW I got errors because libstickyframes wasn't found - there might be a dependancy/opt dep/whatever setting that is off, because usually if an addon needs a library the updaters get them automatically. Anyway, went and manually got the libstickyframes using the updater, and once in wow got an error ... forgot to copy it... it had something to do with a 'pointA' variable i believe.

Hey, got a random request for ya for AI here - With the guild bank up, can you add the current tab's name to the title of the window, or some other way to tell what tab you are on? It might be because of skinner, but right now when i open up the guild bank, i have no way of telling what tab i'm looking at.

Well that's only a little counter-intuitive (and possibly something you might want to take into consideration if this ever gets committed to the trunk, lots of people might end up with the same error) but after deleting that saved variable file i can open skillet without error - BUT the problems aren't over yet.

With alchemy open, clicking on headings doesn't do anything, but if i click on the little (-) next to a heading name, instead of collapsing the heading and all it's items disappear! I can keep doing this till the entire list is empty. If i switch the grouping drop down to flat, everything is there, but switching back to blizzard they are still gone, and stay gone till i relog or /reloadui. Same happens with Cooking and First Aid.

On a side note, i want to put a vote in to have the 'hide trivial' and 'hide uncraftable' back as checkboxes rather than drop down options... it's much quicker and easier to use them that way, at least for me, and they don't make a lot of sense being under 'grouping' - just a vote, not a demand :).

No dice. First tried the ctrl open to clear data and rescan, no change. Then did a full sweep of all skillet saved variable files on all my alts and tried again, same errors. The shift open will still get me the blizz frames... but that doesn't help all too much ;). Also made sure and disabled all other addons just incase something was throwing skillet off, but again, no dice. I'm kinda stumped on this one. Should i try and grab the version on the SVN and see if it works any different than the one posted here?

Negative, I haven't been able to get skillet open to use at all no matter what I do. I'll keep poking around and see if I can get it to open.

Dunno if it will help, but my tradeskills are alchemy, cooking, first aid. All 375.
