    Thanks for the reply to my questions, your suggested solution for Putricide is actually what I ended up doing, heh. For reference, if you were planning Plague timers yourself, I worked out:

    i) First Plague is 12 seconds after the pull, thereafter 60 seconds.

    ii) At P1-P2 transition :

    -- P2 Trigger
    {
    	type = "combatevent",
    	eventtype = "SPELL_CAST_START",
    	spellid = {
    		72851, -- 10h
    		72852, -- 25h
    		},
    	execute = {
    			"quash", "plaguecd",
    			"set",{plaguetime = 90},
    			"alert", "plaguecd",
    			"set",{plaguetime = 60},
    		},
    },

    iii) At P2-P3 transition :
    -- P3 Trigger
    {
    	type = "combatevent",
    	eventtype = "SPELL_AURA_APPLIED",
    	spellid = {
    		73121, -- 10h
    		73122, -- 25h
    	},
    	execute = {
    			"quash", "plaguecd",
    			"alert", "plaguecd",
    		},
    },

    Since Tear Gas doesn't fire in Heroic, the Goo, Bomb and Sludge timers also don't initiate properly at the transitions. I imagine you could just move them to those events since so far as I'm aware both fire in Normal and Heroic mode anyway. To save a trip to Wowhead, the P2 trigger checks for 'Mix Concoction' (or w/e the 30 second cast he begins is called). The P3 trigger checks for the buff he gets immediately after the second 30 sec cast at 35% ('Guzzle Potions' I think).

    Yes, but I'd rather not have that, since the spam from endless warnings would be distracting and intolerable. I'd rather have a bar that started at 0 and counted up so I could yell for a change before it reached 15. That fact that the bar would persist in counting up until 'SPELL_AURA_REMOVED' fired and not just disappear after X seconds gives some leeway with, for example, a screwup necessitating a tank holding it for 20 seconds with Shield Wall or w/e.

    If the functionality doesn't exist in the addon I'm not requesting an addition, I was simply curious if such a thing were already in place somewhere.

    edit: While I'm here, I'd truly love a function that could determine which of two timers would expire first and based upon that display an appropriate alert. Case in point - Lich King has mechanics which necessitate both spreading out and bunching up depending on whether Valkyrs or Defile is expected next. Currently we determine this by eyeballing the timers, but it would be a tremendous time/stress saver if there were some manner of comparing the duration of both timers and flashing an appropriate warning based upon what will expire first.

    As an aside, that would make it easy to quash timers for things that will never happen - for instance, if Unchained Magic fires at Sindragosa, there's no need to put up new cooldown bars if they will expire after the Air Phase has begun. Again, I don't ask you to add all these things personally, you do a fantastic job with the mod as is. I'd quite like this option present though so I can tweak my own copy.

    Hi there. Is there a function to add a timer that counts UP and not down? I ask since I'm twiddling with the Putricide mod as we progress in heroic and I'm trying to create a warning bar which shows me the elapsed duration of Unbound Plague on its current target. I have no problem linking it to events, just not sure how I'd go about creating the incrementing timer.

    Is there any chance of having dual spec support here? I have a tendency to want to place the most spammed abilities of any given spec on similar keys (e.g - Q is Arcane Blast for arcane mage, but Fireball for fire mage) which presently necessitates rebinding with KeyboundExtra whenever I respec, unless I bind to the specific buttons and insure the abilities I want to share keybinds end up in exactly the same button, which is often impractical.

    There is no point to editing anything as Blizzard does not provide the ability to check for 38 vs 40 yards. All there is is UnitInRange().

    How weird, I could have sworn people popped in/out of range after we were all positioned and I made the change. Confirmation bias is a dangerous thing, hah.

    Thanks for taking the time to write such a clear answer.

    Can I ask why you changed the 40 yard default to 38 yards (and removed the 40 yd option)? As a healer, on certain fights where positioning matters, this is frustrating and necessitated me editing the luas back to their old values. Was there a specific reason for it, since it seems bizarre?

    if you provide a spell id, or better combatlogentries for the flames, it would be easier to implement i think.

    Apologies. The problem is largely that there isn't actually a combat log event, unless someone stands in the damned things. The first patch appears 10 seconds after someone hits the Button to start hardmode, and further spawns occur every 25 seconds after that until the end. It might actually be beyond the purview of BigWigs given that.

    Current. Long ago this was Zyn UI, it sort of evolved over time.

    In Hard Mode Mimiron, being aware of the timer on which the new fire spots are due (which we've established to be on a 25 second cooldown) is extremely useful. Is there any chance this could be added?

    Thankyou for all your work in any case!
