    Grennon,

Great mod. Thanks. I for one would really like the combined BG quests fixed. The Alliance quest is http://www.thottbot.com/?qu=8371 and the Horde one is http://www.thottbot.com/?qu=8367.

Ultimately they are the same quest in that they require three of each BG mark.

I've take a look at your code and it doesn't look like I can hack it in. I think the data file will need to look something like this and the processing logic changed accordingly:

    L["Concerted Efforts"] = {
       L["Warsong Gulch Mark of Honor"]=3,
       L["Arathi Basin Mark of Honor"]=3,
       L["Alterac Valley Mark of Honor"]=3,
    }

Etcetera. This data file format would also support your existing single item turnins and your ZG multi-item turnins, which would really simplify the code.

I'm not sure of your schedule on this, but I may take a stab at it over the Thanksgiving long weekend. If I do, I'll put it in branches and you can decide what you want to do with it.

Also, the CLI stuff you want with Ace Console (enable/disable) basically comes for free. Just mixin AceConsole and enabled/disable your logic in the OnEnabled/OnDisabled handlers. You will get an Enabled option for free. (I think you do have to add at least one option to the table or it won't add the default options IIRC. I think I got bit by this once before.)

Can you check your installation folder (where you unzipped the package) and ensure that the following files are there:

    - ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll
    - Interop.Shell32.dll
    - License.txt
    - Readme.txt
    - WinAceUpdater.exe
    - WinAceUpdater.exe.config

It sounds like you may be missing the SharpZipLib dll.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet on this thread, but I again want to ask for timers on the aura tooltip for "player".

I hide my various buff bars and depend on the tooltip to know how long things still have to go. Timers on other players would be nice too, but I'm not sure it can be done.

guess there's a limit on the quote.  there was a full 100 errors saved, guessing even more that got chopped.

Lately, a lot of the errors are being caused by strangeness from the TBC conversions. What I've done to eliminate this problem is switch to Tekkub's StandaloneLibs system.

I wrote it up on the WowAceUpdater wiki page [1]. Give it a shot.

There was also a request on Bartender2 thread: Change bar depending 'On Combat' which i find to be a good idea after all.

Oh, and also there needs to be an option to use the same keybind for multiple bars that will make them change into the userspecified page :)

Huh? I don't understand that last one.

I had big fps issues with WoW in RC1, is this still the problem in RC2? :o

I get ~10fps better on RC2 than I did on XP. It seems like High Performance mode on my laptop actually means that in Vista. In XP it just meant "less battery mode". :)

Dunno if this can be solved at all but one of the things that keeps bothering me when I use Pagemaster is I have it set to CTRL to switch a bar.

However since I am holding down the CTRL key no bindings work (atleast I assume that is why) any suggestions on how to solve it so I can hold down CTRL and press the keybinding for button 1 to use whatever is first on the new bar that shows up.

I don't know if I understand, but I'll take a stab. Make sure you have 1-9, -, = bound to your first bar. Then pagemaster will swap in the other bars into that bar when you press CTRL, ALT and SHIFT. So you don't need any other bindings.

    That's the whole point.

I downloaded the "WinAceUpdater-1.5-bin.zip" and ran the .exe file.

It detected the addons I had correctly but it doesn't select the "SVN" files to update so I did that manually, minor annoyance but not a big problem.

The biggest problem I had was when I made it try to update my addons, I get this error whenever it tries to extract:

    http://img67.imageshack.us/my.php?image=error3zd6.jpg

The program worked when I first started using it. I tried using the 1.4 file but that failed to work as well :(

I need more information. What operating system? Windows XP I assume? Do you have .NET 2.0 installed? I assume yes. When you look in the folder with the EXE, do you see a file called ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll? If not, redownload and unzip. I just downloaded to be sure and all the files are there.

Aside from Install/Update and Uninstall, can you add a Reinstall function?  I'd like Reinstall to delete the selected Addon(s)'s files and extract the latest version again, regardless of whether there is a newer version available.

You can achieve this by playing with the options a bit. See the wiki page for a "Tip" on how to do this.

    WinAceUpdater is now WowAceUpdater!!

I just renamed the SF.net project from WinAceUpdater to WowAceUpdater. It turns out that there was a project called WinAce and the old name was creating confusion. Also, we have a developer working on a Mac version of the code so the old name didn't make sense.

The plan is for the Mac and Win versions to share as much code as possible and just have two different UIs.

The new URL for the SF.net site is http://sf.net/projects/wowaceupdater.

    Enjoy!
