sure, XRS seems to have the number, but the problem is that it's too much. Sure, I could probably just try to rip out the code for displaying how many that's alive (try to somehow invert it, as it counts how many that's dead), but more is not always better.

Well, thanks. I'll try to take what I need from that. :)

Edit: Hmm, seems like I can't find any code to just rip out. :( I guess I'll have to learn how to do it from the group-up instead. =/

posted a message on Raidframe in Numbers
I won't make a long paragraph how I got the idea for this, that's not what anyone reading this will be interested in. Instead, what is my idea?

It's basically a RaidFrame. But without bars. It instead shows only how many players that's alive and how many that's in the raid. As a DPS-caster, I'm not interested in roughly how much Hp every member has, I just have to know if we're facing a wipe or not (in case a tank dies), or if we're too few to beat an encounter.

An example of how this works: The "Frame" says "23/25". 23 is how many that's alive (discluding pets) and 25 the members of the raid. As I got Tank-frames, I already know that the tanks are alive and that only 2 guys are down. In other words, the situation's fine.

I don't really care who picks this idea up, just that someone does it. I won't take any credit for it (unless the author wants to give me credit, that is).

    Thanks in advance. :)

Would it be possible to add something like EkBomb to BigWigs? I really like these extremely-big warnings (impossible to miss), but I can't see any reason to have it all running all the time. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to split up it's warning-texts and add them into the sepearate boss-modules (the description says kinda clear which bosses it's in). The only problem I would see with this is that you get kinda stressed a few seconds before you gather yourself up and remembers what to do.

posted a message on raid fps
I've tried increasing my own framerate (which was around 9 in OG before I started). I had the highest graphic-settings, a really high ress, and played in window-mode with full-windowed. Note that I used the same addons before and after this increase.

I turned down the graphic settings (which have already been suggested).
I lowered the ress a bit (later changed back, as everything got so small).
I don't use full-screen window (as I noticed the FPS decreased notably when it got full-windowed).

    Now it's around 30 in OG (+-10 ^^).

posted a message on ag_UnitFrames (Release 7/19/2006) alpha version
I'm kinda confused what I want to suggest about the support of Raid-Frames in this one. I currently use PRaid, and like it a lot, but I can't see why I should use 2 addons for something one could be used for. On the other hand, I like it more then the ones in this addon, as they take less place (on the screen, that is) and the classes sticks together below each other, making a list.
Now, the last part is possible to do with aguf, as long as the number of players of one class doesn't change. If there would be some way to create a "stick classframes horizontally/vertically", that wouldn't be a "disadvantage" over PRaid. Some things that it has, too, that might make healers prefer PRaid over agUF, is that you can let the frame be half-transparent when a player is out of range.

Perhaps you could look at PRaid and burrow some code of them for those things (if it's allowed... if it's not, I never wrote this sentence ;))? :)

Looks like it scales the loot-window after how many items the loot is...looks good. :)

The Social-pane still hasn't got it's blessing. I know I mentioned it on Page 8 (poor art at the top of page 9), but I guess it's good to remind about it.

Also, could you add support for Extended Quest Log? It's such a cool addon, it's too bad it doesn't have support by these cool skins yet.

Does the mod also hide the Emote-button (the one with the chat-bubble-icon)? It's one of the things with CleanChat doesn't have, but ChatBox have. Might sound like a little detail, but it's very annoying with that, fairly useless, button if you're trying to make a clean UI.

Class-names isn't needed imo. If there is a seperate mod for it, there's no need to have it here, too.

Btw, if you are nuking the [Guild]-text, why not delete it completely? For the most basic channels such as say, yell, guild, party, raid, general, trade, localdefence and lookingforgroup.

Ok, made that poor paint-work as I said. Here's the full pic.

Read the pages 5 to 8, and am safe to post this in the belief that no one have posted it already. The Socials-pane (friends, guild, who, raid) isn't touched by this (great) mod yet.

Perhaps it's in the works, or perhaps someone of you developing it have an idea already. I can make some poor work in paint to describe a picture-suggestion when I get home if you have no idea yourselves yet.

You're probably going to get this question several times when you release this, so I'll ask you now, to let you prepare a really good answer: ;)

"Now when Blizzard have practically build in a Scrolling Combat Text in the game, why should I use SCT?"

Good luck making a good answer, and thanks in advance for that answer. :)
