    I've added your name to the credits (addon page) and as a contributor role. I'll add your name to the code in the next update.

    Right now it inspects when you target someone. I plan on adding ability to inspect group members passively once I figure out a courteous (to other addons) way to do it.
    It saves people's gems to a saved variable
    playerGems["Cyprias"] = {
    [1234] = 4, --gemID 1234, 4x socked
    [4321] = 4,
    }
    The data does get skewed abit due to most people (i've found) don't wear PvP gear in Dalaran. I need to go play more BGs/arenas to increase the gems with resilience.

    GemCensus (GC) inspects people and records which gems people have socketed. Then shows you in a table which gems are the most popular along with their raw & cut price and profit to be made. GC can pull prices from Auction Lite, Auction Master, Auctionator and Auctioneer.

    Project page: here

    I haven't documented the project very well. There's options to filter gems based on rarity, level, known/unknown gems, profit, have mats, already have gem in inventory/auction.

    posted a message on Alt-Tab Toggle
    project page: http://www.wowace.com/addons/alt-tab-toggle/

    Alt-Tab Toggle forces the game to the foreground on events. It's based off similar mod from vanilla WoW that broke during BC. By default ATT only plays a sound on events, the forcing the window forward tends to crash some people and the bug has been reported in other mods that use the same gxRestart method.

    Events that ATT will toggle include
    * Auctioneer scan, search and post complete (2.0.6beta)
    * BankStack complete (2.0.3beta)
    * BG Deserter debuff expire,
    * BG idle debuff,
    * Enemy detected,
    * Enter Battleground window,
    * Enter combat,
    * Flight land,
    * Group invite,
    * Group ready check,
    * LFG boot proposal,
    * LFG enter proposal,
    * LFG role check,
    * Summon request,
    * Trade skill finish crafting (2.0.8beta),
    * Whispers,
    * Wintergrasp Starting,
    * Zeppelin arrival (1.4.1beta).

    Let me know if there's other events that would be useful to toggle on. Even other addon's events.
    I plan on adding dungeon deserter/cooldown expire and ingame alarm but they'd only work in window mode. They don't fire any events when they're finished.

    update: Added events
    * BG gates opening
    * Dual request (2.1.5beta)
    * Mailbox, finished looting (2.1.7beta) helpful when using Postal's Open All feature
    * Resurrection request (2.1.2beta)

    I use UNIT_AURA to tell me when the target gains a new aura. I don't think it fires for the mouseover unitID though.
    The combatlog tells us when a mob gains/removes a auras. PB should be updating the nameplate when it sees the combatlog message.

    Looks like there may be a endless loop being created.
    When Chinchilla sees the minimap's zoom has changed, it changes it to 0.
    When TotemRadius sees the minimap's zoom has changed, it changes it to another value inorder to detect if we're inside or outside a dungeon. Then changes it back to the original zoom level.
    Both addons are seeing each other change the zoom causing a infinite loop.

    TR is using the same method GatherMate and Gatherer use to check if indoor/outdoor. Do you notice if those addons cause the error too?

    /sorry for the late reply, I didn't notice this thread was replied to.

    posted a message on Packager issue with tagged version
    I'm having this issue with the packager where when ever I tag a version, only the files in a sub folder is moved to the new tagged folder/zip.

    svn trunk: svn://svn.wowace.com/wow/libaurainfo-1-0/mainline/trunk
    svn tags: svn://svn.wowace.com/wow/libaurainfo-1-0/mainline/tags

    In the trunk I have files setup as
    /trunk/.pkgmeta
    /trunk/LibAuraInfo-1.0.toc
    /trunk/LibAuraInfo-1.0/LibAuraInfo-1.0.lua
    /trunk/LibAuraInfo-1.0/lib.xml

    In the tagged folders it comes up as
    /tags/1.0.3beta/LibAuraInfo-1.0.lua
    /tags/1.0.3beta/lib.xml

    What can I do to get the tagged versions to package the parent folder like the commit zips do.

    edit:
    I think it's fixed. I removed embeds.xml and moved the loading of LibStub and CallbackHandler-1.0 to the toc. This can be deleted.

    Alright I found 2 problems with dNameplates. First being they're using SetScript instead of HookScript for the nameplate OnShow/OnHide/OnUpdate handlers. This is breaking PlateBuffs' ability to detect nameplates as they appear on screen. For now I'm using a workaround to detect broken OnShow/OnHide/OnUpdate hooks and rehooks the nameplates. This detection is done every second so it should be almost unnoticeable to end users. I've requested they use HookScript but so it's up to them if they do it.

    2nd which I can fix in PlateBuffs is they're replacing nameplate regions which I use to pull info from nameplates. I've added support for their region changes to LibNameplate r69 and should be included in PlateBuffs r135

    I've done what I can on my end to get PlateBuffs functional on dNameplates. I don't use dNameplates myself so any changes they do will go unnoticed until someone reports any bugs.

    brotherhobbes, get PlateBuffs r135 and see if that fixes the problems you're having.

    Quit breaking things.

    I'm looking at dNameplates' code and not sure why it's causing problems. I'll install it later and see what I find.

    I've added tracking of auras in combatlog and callbacks when a GUID's aura status changes. Info on the aura such as stackCount, debuffType, duration, expires and isDebuff can be retrieved using lib:GUIDAura( GUID, spellID )
    I'm trying to mimic UnitAura( unitID, index ) using combat log data. The lib will update it's GUID aura info if user target/mouseover the unit but won't fire a callback for this info change.

    That's a good idea. I was gonna do that awhile ago but got distracted and forgot about it. Then I seen I had duration/debuffType for 3k spells in platebuffs and decided to move it to it's own lib. But yeah, having a lib:GUIDAura(dstGUID) API that returns known auras on that GUID world be helpful.

    on a unrelated note. Since some spellIDs can have varying durations, I think my current database of durations might be poisoned with durations that aren't the base duration. I wonder how I can correct this. I could go with lowest seen duration but diminishing returns on CC spells may throw it off.
