Oct 20, 2007That is what I did yes (remember to add embeds.xml to your .toc as well), and it seems to be working. Also remember it can tell the difference between Embeds and embeds - its case sensitive. Either is fine long as you use the same name for the file as in the .toc far as I know.Posted in: General AddOns
Oct 20, 2007Thanks Lurker, from that I think I've fixed my copy (or at least it seems to be ok so far)Posted in: General AddOns
I made an embeds.xml file in the addon folder and opened it in a text editor, and following another addons example, put all the libs in there.
<Ui xmlns="http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/ ..\FrameXML\UI.xsd"> <script file="libs\AceAddon-2.0\AceAddon-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\AceConsole-2.0\AceConsole-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\AceDB-2.0\AceDB-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\AceDebug-2.0\AceDebug-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\AceHook-2.1\AceHook-2.1.lua"/> <script file="libs\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua"/> <script file="libs\AceLocale-2.2\AceLocale-2.2.lua"/> <script file="libs\AceOO-2.0\AceOO-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\Babble-2.2\Babble-2.2.lua"/> <script file="libs\PaintChips-2.0\PaintChips-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\CandyBar-2.0\CandyBar-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\Deformat-2.0\Deformat-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\Dewdrop-2.0\Dewdrop-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\FuBarPlugin-2.0\FuBarPlugin-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\Parser-3.0\Parser-3.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\SharedMedia-1.0\SharedMedia-1.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\Tablet-2.0\Tablet-2.0.lua"/> <script file="libs\Waterfall-1.0\Waterfall-1.0.lua"/> </Ui>
When I first did it it was in alphabetical order and it got upset about PaintChips and colour formats, but I noticed it mentioned CandyBar in the error so I tried moving PaintChips before it in the load order and it worked.
A final change I had to make was to open the .toc file in a text editor and add embeds.xml to the top of the list of files (line underneath ## Version)
Little fiddly but it all seems to be working again :P Thanks again for your help.
Oct 20, 2007I'm having a similar problem with r52172:Posted in: General AddOns

Error occured in: Global

Cannot find a library instance of Waterfall-1.0.
SorrenTimers\SorrenTimers.lua:87: in main chunk
Having swapped addons around trying to sort it out its definitely this addon which starts the problems, and all the libs appear to be where they should be etc, just for some reason not working

The threat values for my felguard are overestimated in the threat 40355 (but Anguish is picked up every time now :D). Having played about slightly (with no real idea about threat values), changing the "apFactor" on the Anguish skill down to "0.32" seems to put it close to accurate for my level 70 pet and gear. I don't know what the value ought to be, or if thats the solution though, and its not that big an issue cos I tend to nuke anyway :P
This is soloing with the pet, not in a party and I tested with his auto casts off, and on passive, just sending him in to taunt then hold while I wanded till I pulled aggro back (minor edit, just clarifying was at range so 130% aggro to pull back via wanding).

I'm using Omen r40055 (which has Threat-1.0 r40003 embedded in it)Posted in: Libraries
Swapped to my Voidwalker and having the same problem with its taunts (Torment and Suffering)
