Hmm... definitely one to keep an eye on, if for no other reason than having better permissions management for changing multiple characters at once. I'm sure we can all agree that the default interface is seriously lacking in this department. Should it be able to directly set ranks to a different rank, or will you still have to move them through each rank in between to get to the desired one?

Just curious if it would be possible to split all the LuaTexts stuff here to it's own thread (or just leave it as is and start directing people to a new thread)? Seems that LuaTexts help is really dominating the thread for those of us wanting to come here and see PB4 "proper" news and Q&A.

Phanx's idea seems to have some merit there... An additional view for those that immediately discount a disc priest's usefulness by only looking at healing done (trust me, I've corrected a number of people with also linking GuessedAbsorbs after they were ragging on one of our disc priests for "shitty" healing they linked from healing done). Would give an easy way to link both at once (merged) without altering the straight-up healing done module I guess. People could review and link one, the other, or both (merged view) as they saw fit, and not have to worry about having an option set one way or the other.

Bottom line sounds more like going back to the idea for having an option to merge them, instead of arguing for 10 more pages if they're the same thing or not... :p

Will you please consider adding a custom skin for Mapster? Mapster alters the world map and Skinner isn't skinning the map properly after the changes.

There's an option to change the world map skinning style to accomodate for Mapster. I don't recall the exact name (and not in-game at the moment to check), but it should fix that.

Yeah, I was in-game some time after my post and noticed the button for Force Retract. Can't say I've ever tried it, so not sure if it's functional, and/or what it's intended use is as of this time. It would seem to make sense for it to work as you suggested, to force someone's bid off the table.

OK, if I'm off on any of this, maybe Zhinjio will be around soon to correct me... but maybe this will help answer some of your questions in the meantime.

    1) No, I don't believe this is currently possible.

    2) Not that I'm aware of.

    3) Not sure what you're referring to here... I don't recall seeing a "Force Retract", but maybe I overlooked it. On the bidding panel itself, the Bid and Retract are just for you, yourself to Bid and Retract your own bids from what I've gathered. Also, make sure you have been added to the "permission" list to be able to make modifications to the lists. Without permissions, you can only bid and retract through the addon when a bid is opened by someone with permissions.

    4) No timer included in the addon, but something I believe has been asked for over in the ticketing system for the addon, so it's a known feature request. Once the bid is closed, the list is changed, and the "winner" is suicided. Hiding the "spam" isn't going to change this, so you'll still need to manually fix lists in your example.

    5) Switching list BEFORE opening for bids isn't an issue. Switching a list WHILE open for bids causes issues. Closing the bid would still apply to the list that was selected when the bid was opened, not whatever list you currently have selected. So, if you run say a main spec and an off spec list and want to change lists (no bids for main spec, for instance), you first need to close the bid, then switch lists and open the bid again once the new list has been selected.

posted a message on Mobinfo2 and Curse Client: wont update?
Hmm... there's already a MobInfo3, which allows for importing the old MobInfo2 data. So, now there's a newer MobInfo2 than the latest MobInfo3..? /sigh

If that's the case, it would seem better to pick up MI3 if it's indeed abandoned, or rename this new update of MI2 so people don't end up confused over which is actually newer (you know it will happen).

Just came here to tell you that the "lag/Freeze" that happens when you hover your mouse over targets is now partially fixed.

Instead of completly freezing the game it just "stutters" but it's still annoying ofc but Acceptable for being Beta ^^. Keep it going, i'm sure you'll have the stutter/lag/freeze when mouseovering completly eleminated in a few more versions =)

PS: Skinner b2.9947.1 is the version i talked about who had the freezing partially fixed, making it stutter instead.

Curious if you have other addons adding info to the tooltips that may be the cause here? I noticed some brief lag/stutter when hovering over items at the AH recently, but turned out it was due to MobInfo3. When I turned off its option to add drop info to the item tooltips, it cleared up.

Odd, because I'm certain in one of the previous versions, I could change the tooltip style in Skinner and get it to do it for that session. Anyway... I guess this means I should briing this up with the TipTac author to get a tiling mode then within TipTac for the background image? Thanks for looking into it regardless.

I seem to be having issues with TipTac stretching my custom background texture applied by Skinner instead of tiling it on login. Seems if I go into the Skinner options and change the tooltip skinning option from 2 and back again, that it will stay tiled until next login.

Edit: OK, my bad, was thinking these were numbered 0, 1, 2... but after updating to the latest, and checking it again, I see the tooltip options are 1, 2, 3. In any case, it doesn't seem that changing it from 3 and back again is now having any effect, so the custom background texture is remaining stretched at all times now instead of tiling.

Well, they should have made it in a way that the buff just turns inactive instead of being canceled... well Blizzard... ;)

    This.

Idiotic that a buff requiring a reagent gets killed by a totem that does not require a reagent, doesn't last as long, AND requires people to be in range of said totem at all times to benefit.

For the Blizzard buffs, there's always FacadeBuffs in the meantime that will allow you to scale and move the buff frame as well as enabling ButtonFacade skinning.

I'm not exactly sure how I'll work around this, I need to look into it. Have you asked from the Macaroon author as well?

No, have not brought it up with him yet. I've was out of town this past week, but wanted to at least mention it here so I didn't forget about it. I'll throw up a post over on wowinterface to ask about it and point him this way for more info.

From what I recall, it seems to be tied to which profile is currently loaded on login. If that's the case, I suppose a reload of the UI may correct for it after a talent swap for the time being... I'll have to try this out and see.

Edit: OK, brought it up in the Macaroon thread over on wowinterface here as well now.
