Haha, yeah... I love being geared enough to start ICC on an alt, and being turned down for a normal ToC10 on that alt, due to GS alone...
I find nothing inherently wrong with GS itself, mind you. It's simply a tool to help judge someone's potential performance. In the hands of tools though...
If I recall correctly, in addition to being able to show item counts on the item tooltip between all your characters' banks, bags, and mail, I believe Altoholic can also include counts for how many of the item you have on the AH.
Before the feed, anyone could have written a script mining someone's achievements and stats from the armory every few hours and they'd have gotten the same result anyway... this thing is being blown out of proportion.
Haven't reported it before now, because I haven't really noticed a specific trend to it yet to try and reproduce it intentionally. My only real suspicion at the moment is possibly something firing off right after or right as you leave combat, or a boss death is recognized that may be causing it to behave this way. Like, a brief confusion internally about when/where the segment ends, if that makes sense?
As the other poster had mentioned, the window will clear, even though it's still set to "Current Fight", yet reselecting "Current Fight" from the menu will redisplay the last fight's data again. Seems almost like something's happening right at the end of combat to make Recount think it needs to start a new segment, so it clears the window in preparation, but it all gets stored with the prior segment.
I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this problem I've been having. I couldn't find much in a search so I decided to post up on this thread. I've been having this problem for quite some time. Many months, at least. The recount window will randomly clear itself empty (the data is all still there) and make me have to reselect current fight (or whatever it's on) to get the bars to show back up again.
Well, I'm probably throwing myself to the wolves here, but specifically regarding the "blind" card... I've seen this one thrown around a lot. A LOT. The fact is, there are certain sites where I'd SERIOUSLY have to question if a blind person would ever care in the slightest. For instance: if you're blind, you're probably not playing WoW, and probably don't really give a shit if a site dedicated to WoW addons is blind-accessible. Sure, there's a lot of content out there that blind people probably DO care about, and should be able to access in a way that suits them, but when it comes to things like video games, I kind of doubt it since they're lacking the required "visual" in order to enjoy them in the first place.
After you install HandyNotes, import the default data from SilverDragon (it's in the SilverDragon options). If I recall correctly, this is when it adds icons to the map (been a while since I initially imported it, so sorry if this info is incorrect).
As for the cross-server, hunter-pet merge issue, I've ran a few more random heroics since the report, and haven't really noticed it happening again after the first day I was running them. So, unfortunately, I have no way to reliably reproduce it yet. If I recall correctly though when it did happen, the pet was listed with just the player's name only on the bar, while the 2nd entry was the hunter itself with the "name-realm" format. So, it would seem that there may be a rare case where when Recount is matching a pet to its owner, it's not taking the realm into consideration 100% of the time..?
Noticing an issue, and not really sure if it's correctable... Hunter pets (when the hunter is a cross-faction player) don't always seem to be merging. The hunter's name will appear twice in the list, but the 2nd entry only looks to have pet-specific info attached to it.

Yeah, it was done some time ago, actually... http://wowgossips.com/
You can pick whoever you want to "stalk" there, and this was well before the RSS feeds on the Armory site.

I've seen this on a number of occasions as well.
