    posted a message on BLP <--> PNG/TGA Converter?
    Thanks, Storm. Xnview seems like an ACDSEE kind of prog.. should come in handy for more than just this. Looks like it handles *.ico files as well, maybe I can ditch irfanview and just use Xnview for it all. :)

    I, personally, recommend Xnview. It has a full-fledged browser with BLP support, so you can click a folder and see thumbnails of all of the BLPs. I use it to export to PNG for editing, because it does an EXCELLENT job at preserving transparency. Then I use Photoshop/GiMP to convert to TGA (There's no reason to convert to BLP).

    Edit:

    You can use either. BLP is a TGA, just with some different header info, IIRC. As I said above, there's no reason to bother with converting to BLP, as the game supports both.

    ^^ Ty tons for that. It'll be nice not worrying about conversion for homemade in-game icons.

    Edit: Xnview is MUCH better than Irfanview.

    I'm not sure if you can attribute the lack of sounds specifically with oRA. I don't use oRA and haven't for a while, but my sounds go in/out as well.

    Tab control being looked into?

    Also, anytime somebody with a raid icon types and that option is enabled, the text and the whole line is jacked up and unreadable.

    I have the same issue. I googled it and found that it's been posted w/ no response on the WoW forums as of patch 2.4.2.

    If the title was enough to confuse you, check the attached image. Whenever you use mobmap to track something, such as a mob, it puts the text of what you're tracking along the bottom edge of your map; however, this text gets overlapped by the cursor coordinates. Extremely annoying when I actually want to read those coordinates. =/

    I'll submit this with the Mobmap dev as well.

    posted a message on BLP <--> PNG/TGA Converter?
    I'm trying to learn the coding to make databroker blocks starting with a quicklaunch using an icon for an addon I use that doesn't currently have built-in support (and eventually showing a tooltip w/ information pulled from it).

    Anyhoo.. is there a program out there (or even a plugin for gimp/photoshop) that will let me open/save or convert to and from blp? I've tried googling and keep hitting dead links. -_-

    Can I just use tga? I've seen addons use both, but don't know which to use when.

    What do I do with this, or will it not work anymore?

    Fix leading 0 issue:

    function Clock:Update()
    local hour = date("%I") + 0
    self.text = hour .. date(":%M")
    end

    I don't see any code matching it at all except maybe function Clock:OnUpdate(), but the rest of it is different.

    My only real issue atm is that when I set it to look for Alpha versions, it still only finds beta and release versions.

    Ah Crap! -back to alpha-izing my addons I go. =/

    One thing that's really been driving me nuts is if I install something without the CC, and then I load up CC and let it find the newly added addons, it says the installation date/version is older than what it actually is and shows it as an update available.

    Ex: The most recent version of ArkInventory (manually downloaded/installed) would show as like an August '08 build in the "Installed" column once loaded into the CC.

    Have you tried QuestGuru? It does replace both the log and the tracker, but you can EASILY modify the tracker to be nothing more than the title bar, quest names colored however you want (mine are by level- gray, green, yellow, orange, red), and the objective.

    With QG you can also watch A LOT more than 5 quests at a time, it even puts a little scrollbar so if you have too many out they wont flood your screen. Tracker is also minimizable so you can keep your watched quests out, but just minimize the tracker down to the title bar to clear up some screen estate if you need.

    What I actually mean is using a splitter to let us adjust the size of the add-on list relative to the window. The whole window does allow resizing, I didn't notice that before.

    I'd like to see that as well for the times I actually maximize the window.
