On top of that, the ending heal involved with Lifebloom generates 0 threat across the board. Right now Threat 1.0 is treating all Lifebloom healing as normal healing threat levels.

Doesn't Lifebloom's bloom give threat to the person it heals? Like Prayer of Mending or Earthshield?

posted a message on Dkp earned per hour. How much is enough?
We use a system similar to epgp with a sliding window. Old raids slowly slide out of the windowed view and are no longer counted. Allows for players to not be forever "punished" because they picked up off-spec items, etc.

Players are awarded points for the time spent raiding with us and being available to raid. This allows for people who are forced to sit out to still earn points. It also encourages everyone to show up. If you show up and stay available, you get points.

We award extra bonus points for especially hard wipe nights, content learning (glass chewing), and first time new boss kills. We do not award points for regular boss kills.

We never charged a cost for Karazhan, instead viewing it as an UBRS style instance. We plan the same for Zul'Aman. We just charged a cost for items from 25 man raids. As we progressed from T4 to T5, we dropped the cost of all T4 items to make them still appealing. As we went from T5 to T6, we did the same again.

This is not a perfect system, no loot system is. Currently we are looking at some issues like 2H Weapons costing the same as 1H weapons, etc.

Just find something that your guild feels is fair and meets the needs of as many of your members as possible.

in addition to showing party revisions as mentioned above, you can use ThreatFu.

    http://files.wowace.com/FuBar_ThreatFu/FuBar_ThreatFu.zip

this will show omen and threat lib revisions.

    Empowered Smite
Inflicts 5,463 to 6,037 holy damage. 2 second casting time. It has infinite range, can be used on anyone in the room, and is cast roughly every 30 seconds.

This spell does not apply a debuff and there is really zero need for any sort of warning about it. Malande spams it constantly, usually just on the person tanking her.

Only the Malande's Divine Wrath and Veras's Deadly Poison leave debuffs. BigWigs already warns about Deadly Poison, because it will quickly be followed by Envenom.

I personally don't think you need to warn about Divine Wrath, but that's just my opinion.

    During every attempt on Illidan:

Error: attempt to perform arithmetic on upvalue 'flames' (a nil value)
    File: ...at-1.0\Threat-1.0\NPCModules\BlackTemple\Illidan.lua
    Line: 85
    Count: 2

    This was fixed today, hopefully

    from the changelog:
    r53714 | nevcairiel | 2007-11-02 05:13:14 -0400 (Fri, 02 Nov 2007) | 1 line
    Changed paths:
    M /trunk/Threat-1.0/Threat-1.0/NPCModules/BlackTemple/Illidan.lua

Threat-1.0: NPC/Illidan: make sure flames always has a value, in case someone misses the event that summons them

I don't see why this is strategically needed to help your raid

I believe he is referring to the six Ashtongue Channelers and maybe the Ashtongue Sorcerers that run in to take the Channeler's place. A count of Channeler deaths would be vaguely useful, but I don't know if you could keep track of Sorcerers.

I see, if you feel like making a big list of what mobs come on what waves for specific mobs I can fix it up.

That would be very nice, actually!

Small issue with Threat-1.0 r52299 and Omen r51502 on Reliquary of Souls.

Reliquary of Souls has three phases. When each phase ends, there should be a complete threat reset. This is properly being handled after the first phase ends, but not the second.

Currently you'll go into phase 3 with healers still showing global threat from phase 2. Manually clearing Omen after killing the last ghost at the end of phase 2 corrects this.

This is not a major issue by any means, just a small display problem.

hello, is there a way to add a 3rd center text?
or a way to get it to show a lifebloom icon with a countdown on how long it lasts?

Is there any way to implement an option which will do raid warnings with info who is the current holder of the tainted core on Vashj? BigWigs warns who looted the core but not the current holder when core is passed to another player.

I have to switch to DBM when on Vashj fight because of that option. People sometimes use macro for passing the core when they aren't in range or line of sight to the person that they are targeting so DBM warns which player successfully caught the core (if that player actually caught it) so the core doesn't get lost until the new one is looted.

    Thank you.

Tainted Cores give you a debuff called Paralyze. It's very easy to watch for this debuff and immediately know who has the core. I added Paralyze to one of the debuffs displayed as a Grid center icon, for example.

    Just another possibility.

I hardly play any BG's so I dont know where to debug this.
If you find any soloutions, let me know and I'll update GridStatusHots.

It might have to do with this, "As of 2.2, UnitName is confirmed to be bugged. UnitName is returning "Unknown" if not applicable, or nil if the unit code itself is invalid (such as "xyz"). This will be fixed in 2.3."

As a raiding guild that had many problems with ML over a year ago, we just always leave it on FFA and trained our members to not loot.

I think this addon is a nice idea, though! Question: Do the cores in P2 not show up while under ML? I thought their common item type threshold was below ML.

from the 2.2 changes list post here -> http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=102909678&sid=1

there is this change: "The game tooltip now handles periodic updates directly instead of requiring OnUpdate functions in each button that might have a tooltip. Many of the related OnEnter functions now take a 'self' parameter, so AddOns will need to be updated to reflect this change."

the Blizzard poster posted that bolded section in bold. If you just give it a day or two, the addons will be updated with this addition. For now, you can just disable lua errors under interface options:
Main Menu -> Interface Options -> Basic Tab -> Display section in middle of the screen -> Uncheck Display Lua Errors

At Leotheras we have a warlock tank the demon phase. He opens up with a timed curse of doom. For the first moments he's not showing up on the threat meter. He catches up with most of us, but some people still appear ahead of him. He maintains aggro, so it hasn't been much of an issue in our raids. However, it seems to me that curse of doom's threat might not be counted for. That's the only thing I can figure.

We use a Warlock in FR gear with a CoD as well. I have not seen this happen.

Is it possible his CoD is going off before the Demon phase?
