    Quote from Oakayam
Getting this error with waddu 6.4 trying to download from wowinterface:

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
    at Waddu.Core.WorkItems.WorkItemAddonUpdate.DoWork(WorkerThread workerThread)
    at Waddu.Core.WorkerThread.ThreadProc(Object param)

No Problems here, too. On which addon does that happen? Did you try resetting the settings?

    They changed the Date Format:

Bad thing: I have to fix it.

    Good thing: I already did.

Even better thing: I now have an exact date (to the split second) instead of a per day basis.

I also implemented some very rough Update checking.

    Anyway, here's the download:

    Mirror 1

    Mirror 2

You know, there's level 80 now and I want to get there somewhen so I spent some time playing this weekend

But I've implemented the update by date check and run it every day. No problems so far. Will have to do some No-Lib testing and small fixes in the ChangeLog Viewer and release that Version soon. So stay patient.

I'm positive about having a release ready by tomorrow.

I had a deeper look at Version Numbers and realized that it seems almost impossible to implement the "What needs updating" check primarily on Version Numbers. So the next Release will use an approach most other updaters us. I will create a local File with Informations, when you last updated which Addon. And on Checking it will check all mappings for your addons if one is newer and use the mapping with the newest "Change Date" for updating (unless you forced Waddu to always use a specific mapping).

I'm thinking for a first version on a 3-way updating (first check, then resolve conflicts manually (like same date but different version number), then updating)

Great to hear that it does work quite well on Linux :)

    Thanks for testing it!

Cool, didn't realize that Waddu can handle that :p

Will think about it and maybe add some little GUI to create "Custom" Mappings for the next Version.

@copystring: Good Idea. Can you show me how a Mapping for a Cloned Repository looks like?

I cleaned up most of the code within the last days and reorganized all Files since Waddu now contains more than 60 Code Files and it's still growing...
Also I'm still looking for people who would like to Redesign the UI and / or would like to help developing. If you're interested, feel free to have a look at the code and contact me.

I think that is because CT_RaidTracker is no longer an active Addon from ct-mod. Will add some type of mapping called "Depreciated" soon and add CT_RaidTracker to that kind.

The Summary is (more or less) in the Log ;) I can make something prettier if you use the "Update All" Feature. But my priority right now is to check what to update before updating it. Same goes for the Changelogs.

I just released a new Mapping File. You should get it automatically.

I also implemented a very simple ChangeLog viewer. It can be called when right-clicking on a specific mapping on the addon detail. I also implemented a better Sub/Superaddon Display.

Now I think I can focus on actually checking what to update! Stay tuned for updates.

Thanks, fixed it in next release :) ( I was removing the name and a "-" but there was only the name so i tried to remove something that wasn't there)

    @brotherhobbes:
Yep that's right. That's why it's still an alpha ;) The entire "Check what to Update" is not yet implemented. But that is (I hope) now the next Task i can work on. As soon as that is implemented, I can release a Beta :)

You could download the mapping File, add the Mappings and set the "Use Custom Mapping" in the Settings and choose your modified File.
Or (better) just send me your missing Mappings and I'll add them.
