    Strange Error you have.

However, I just made an Update. If you do get an error, you'll see a big error form with the important information for me. Please paste the Text you see there here so I can see what really happened.

@shank: Strange, they work here without problem. I guess the Problem is when wowace or curse have problems and can't send the right pages. Can you try again if they all leads to a crash? I will catch most crashes in the next version.

Edit: If it crashes again: Can you check if it crashes on "curse" checking or on "wowinterface" checking or on "curseforge/wowace" checking? It should not on curseforge/wowace. But if it does, can you send me some Error Text?

    Alpha 6 Released!

    Here are the Download Links:
    Mirror1 Mirror2

    Changes:
    New: Check Content before Deleting
New: Version Checking for Waddu and Mapping File
New: Implement Ignored/Preferred Mappings in Settings
New: Option to always prefer an older NoLib Version before a newer one with Libs
Chg: Option to use Custom Mapping File
Chg: If NoLib is on, use curseforge/wowace before preferred or default Mapping
Bug: Ignore ignored Addons also when just Checking

Have fun and please report problems or ideas!

You can now use the Help menu to check for a newer Waddu Version. And as long as you don't use a custom mapping file, it will automatically check for newer Mappings and Download it if needed.

Edit: Oh and I added more than 2000 Mappings! So I think (except Auctioneer) you shouldn't see any more missing Mappings :)

@MasterofMuppets: Yes it is already there as you found out ;) I will some day create a little Documentation with Features which are a little hidden. To all who are also looking for the original Link:
    - Select the Addon
    - Right-Click the Mapping you want on the Addon-Details Site
    - Theres an "Info" and "Download" Entry in the Context-Menu. Info will bring you to the Addon's Site for this Mapping, Download will download the File thru the browser.

@Morgalm: That is because BugSack is marked as SubAddon of BugGrabber. That is true for the wowinterface Version but wrong for curse/wowace.

I will implement a check for that soon. To be clearer: I will check the content of the downloaded Archive File and delete all Folders it contains and just warn the user, if the content didn't match the SubAddon list (what was missing, what was too much) instead of just delete the Subaddons from the Mapping.

    Thanks

I just added quite some stuff:

New: Version Checking for Waddu and Mapping File
New: Implement Ignored/Preferred Mappings in Settings
New: Option to always prefer an older NoLib Version before a newer one with Libs
Chg: Option to use Custom Mapping File
Chg: If NoLib is on, use curseforge/wowace before preferred or default Mapping
Bug: Ignore ignored Addons also when just Checking

    Short Explanation:
If you set "prefer nolib" to true it will only get the nolib if the version matches. Otherwise the full version.
If you additionally set the "Use Older" to true, it will get the latest nolib it can find on the first "Files" page. If there is none, it will get the newest full version. I could implement a paging thru all File Pages of an addon but i don't think that anyone really wants an addon that is older than 20 Versions oO

Also the Mapping File Setting changed. You can now enable "use custom mapping" and then put a path or url into the field. If you don't check it, it will use the default (hardcoded) urls and download it if it is newer than your local copy.

Will release the new Alpha as soon as I have finished the mappings...

I just created a Subdomain for Waddu:

    http://waddu.flauschig.ch
    (Mirror: http://www.red-demon.com/waddu )

You will find most News there in Future.

The next Waddu will have a possibility to check if you have the newest Updater and will also only get the mappings File from the Web if it changed. That is because I found some Korean guy who added all! mappings from wowace (unfortunately without Subaddons, so i have to add them now) and after adding about 1/2 of them, the mapping File should be around 500kb when finished and that's a little bit too much to download every time.

    @shank: Thanks for your feedback!
Yep, capping has a bad mapping. Will fix that soon. And also that it won't crash on bad mappings anymore.

For the Ignored: The last two tabs in the settings (Ignored, preferred Mappings) are not yet implemented. You can only check those settings in the config file until the next version. Ignoring did only ignore the Addon if you did "Update all" and not on "Check all", which is fixed right now in my build. So that was a bug.

As for Libraries: I think you have the no-lib setting set to on. That means, Waddu searches for the first File which ends with "-nolib". Even if it is different to the newest without "-nolib". I think I should check if the part before the "-nolib" matches the newest entry and if not, use the newest without "-nolib".

    So thanks for your findinds!

I think I should Release Alpha 5 right now.

    Here are the Download Links:

    Updater:
    Mirror1 Mirror2

    Mappings File:
    Mirror1 Mirror2

    New Features:
    - Ignoring Addons (and saving between Sessions)
    - Save Preferred (Best) Mappings between Sessions
    - Fixed Archive Content Showing Bug
    - Added Loader for the Mappings File
    - Almost doubled the Mappings! (Implemented all you guys sent me within the last weeks)

Have fun and please report problems or ideas!

@xureath: I'm now working on the Update Check function and will think about your thougts ;)

Edit: Oh and I prepared it for so called "Packages", that is a collection of Addons (Addon Folders) with no "Main Addon". Like Auctioneer. They are already in the Mappings File but are ignored right now. The next Release will include those Mappings. I also implemented that each Addon now knows if it is part of any other addon.

Oh and btw, I'm looking for someone who has some time and the desire to create a simple screendesign because it looks ugly right now but I don't want to spend much time on the interface (which isn't my best competence anyway)... So if you got some ideas how to improve the interface, feel free to tell me.
