What would make some sense imo regarding BigWigs/LittleWigs and Transcriptor is to:

    1. Expose the "StartLog", "StopLog" functionality in Transcriptor to other addons.
    2. Have an option in BigWigs to automatically start logging on bossmod enable for bosses that need data and stop logging on "xxx defeated" message or combat end.

http://www.wowace.com/projects/big-wigs_debugger might get us close to that. I haven't played with it and have idea if it works for 3.0 or even the new combat log stuff. If I get some time I look into this, we might be able to enable the BigWigs logging on module enable/disable, we'll see. I do like the idea very much though.

And there you have it. :) Ok get me a few more heroic Trollgore logs so I can verify the constancy of timing between casts. Like I said, original suggested times were 12s, in the one log file we have I see it at 15-17s.

    Heroic Trollgore:

    • tosommer's module shows about 12s between consumes
    • the log file from lindalas shows about 15 & 17s between consumes
    • Need more logs to try and see how consistant it really is. Either way it might not be worth warning for, running 50 yrds out and 50 yrds back in seems like it would take up most of the time between casts, on the other hand, making sure at least all the adds would dead would be worth it I guess.
    The Prophet Tharon'ja

    • At least on the normal runs that I've done, it seems like the phases happened earlier than 75, 50, & 25 which most bosses seem to use for health transitions. I think I might write some code so if people are logging with transcriptor it will output a note of the current health percentage so we can try to gage it.
    Old Strath:

    • I've been working on modules for these guys
    • At work I have code for Salramm & Meathook, which I'll probably check in today
    • At home I have code for Chrono-Lord & Mal'Ganis, which I'll probably check in tonight
    • And I can't see anything worth warning for on the Corruptor. As far as I can tell there isn't anything you can do about the Corrupting Blight, but I also haven't run the instance myself yet.
    Lavanthor (VH):

    • Doesn't seem to have anything worthing of warnings/bars
    Herald Volazj:

    • What were you thinking Yoshimo? Trying to figure out the time between casts?
    Hadronox:

    • Those warnings are annoying as all get out, need to brainstorm a way to make them less annoying or just get rid of them since they happen almost constantly.
I've been reluctant to use tickets, but I think at this point it beats digging back through the forums to find suggested fixes or additions. So if you find things that are broken or things that you would like added, please create tickets for them. You can go here to create & view tickets.

nexus hc, stratholme , and utgarde keep heroic.
I think we need to add some more spellids for ingvars roar on heroic mode and maybe the whoestrike

Hadn't noticed the debuff on the Woe Strike before, definitely a good idea to identify the people that have that debuff. Do you think there is enough time to get away from the Dreadful Roar? It's only a 2 second cast, and assuming that the average caster has a range of 30ish means they'd have to get twice as far way in only 2 seconds. I'm not sure how useful a warning for this is. Can the stacks be removed? I don't see a dispell type for it.

    Boss: Replaced By
    Ichoron : http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=32234
    Lavanthor: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=32237
    Zuramat: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=32230

    Xevozz: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=32231
    Moragg: http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=32235

Oh nifty, wowhead and yoshimo are on it. I added this to the list of potential bosses, I'm still not certain if the module will reset on a wipe though, in BM we reset it based on a yell.

I am assuming this error is from LittleWigs integration to BigWigs as I got it in Occulus Heroic.

BigWigs revision visible in the error message.
    LittleWigs revision was r492 alpha.

BigWigs-2.0 r4839\Prototype.lua:179: attempt to call field '?' (a nil value)

Thanks Dridzt, this error is pretty vague, but I didn't find the problem that I think caused it and have corrected it.

When you have killed a boss already and start again from 1st wave. these bosses are replaced by another mob with the same abilities and mechanics. but another name and without loot.
Every boss has a clone with another name and without loot , except cynagosa of course.

Black Morass was one of the last modules to really get implemented in original LW and suspect Violet Hold maybe end up being the same way :)

That sounds different from anything we've had to deal with before, we'll have to find a way to identify these clones. Sounds like some intentional wipes might be in order, at least once, to see if they have different GUIDs or something. Right now everything is based on GUIDs so the names should be irrelevent if we can find the GUIDs.

Ohh... I'm quiet sure it is. :-\

Anyway. If you don't mind, try the files attached in the zips. I change something about how the umlauts are formated. Let me know if they refuse to work again.

PS: Also includes updates for Dragonblight and Howling Fjord modules.

Sweet, that seemed to work well, they were added in r489.

You can always search through the transcriptor files for the "BW_Msg" section, it lists all the messages that BigWigs sent. It looks to me like Ingvar sent messages for everything I expected him to.

@Farook: For some reason when I copy and paste that code into the files and try to check it in I get an error about it not being UTF-8 formated. I'm sure it's no fault of yours and just me not knowing what I'm doing :) Perhaps someone that has put in deDE stuff in the past could add this stuff for us? If not I'll try to figure it out later.

Thanks for the translations by the way.

Are combat/Transcriptor logs of any use for updating the mod on that end? Or prefer a ZIP instead of a 7z in the download above?

Also have a Transcriptor log of General Bjarngrim (Halls of Lightning), but won't spend time uploading to a download site if its of no use.

Well that really kind of depends on you. If you feel some boss is incomplete, has other things that need warnings or bars, or maybe the timing is off on something, then yes I'd say logs (preferably transcriptor) are helpful along with some thoughts on what you think needs to be added or improved up on. Obviously at some point specific bosses get dialed in and nothing really needs to change, so at the point transcriptor logs aren't so useful.

As for compression personally I prefer zips or 7z over say rars, but so far nobody has posted anything in a compress that is so crazy I don't have a tool to uncompress it. That said I do prefer compression, as these logs are all just text, you can turn a 5-7MB text file into a file that's only a couple hundred KB. And lastly about log files, it's easier for me if they only include the boss encounters, but I understand (as I do it myself all the time) it's hard to remember to turn it on and off for just the boss fights :)

Yea "wall of text" spammy :p

You're probably right about the adds before main encounter begins,
now that I think about it I'm rather certain we were getting spammed before I actually pulled Hadronox.

Yes it is spammy, personally I turned off the options for this module. And yes you can get messages before you engage, because he is targetable (and thus the module activates) long before you start the fight. But yes he seem to cast both of these abilities very fequently. I'll have to look at some more logs to see if there is anything we can do to make it less spamy.

I tried Violet Hold a few minutes ago. The Portal timers are horrible!
They start if i mouseover sinclair and begin even for "portal 0" , i get the "portal in 95 seconds" two to four times in a row.

I think the whole timer should begin when sinclair yells

Sorry about that, I obviously wasn't thinking straight when I wrote the first version, the one I just committed should be much better if not spot on. I'll see if I can test it when I get home tonight, for now it's untested.

We could start a count down to the first portal when Sinclari yells if you feel it's useful. The problem with the old code is that it was watching for UNIT_DIED events and I didn't have enough catches in there to ignore the non-boss deaths, of which there are a LOT!
