To answer the first question, I am running enUS translation. As for the second question, I run a commit monitor to monitor changes in the SVN repositories and grab new versions from that. If you say to grab the zip files now, I will do that and let you know if that solves the problem on my end.

Yea, most developers and the wowace web team will suggest that you get zips over directly from the svn. And the new translations system is one of the reasons way. You should be able to set the CurseClient to download alphas if you really want to be bleeding edge. But on of the upsides to the new alpha/beta/release type system we have going on, is that I can code stuff at work when I'm bored, commit it, then go home and test it hours or days later and be confident that I'm not breaking a large portion of the user base. But that said, the translation stuff should be all spiffied up if you grab the latest alpha zip.

Ever since updating yesterday to r545, whatever translation changes were made are causing the following errors. Not going to post all of them, because there is 89 total in all, so instead, here is an example of the two types of errors being caused....appears to be triggering from each boss contained in littlewigs:

Wow, 89 seems really excessive, I certainly received some, fixed most, still a couple outstanding. There seems to a problem specifically with the Controller & Constructor module, I need to hunt down the wowace admin that does the translations stuff and find out what's up with that one.

What translation are running in Eatsbrains? And second question, are you running from a zip file or from an SVN download? If you run from SVN, that won't work any more. If you want cutting edge stuff, alpha releases, you'll need to just grab the alpha zip files.

    with ## X-Curse-Packaged-Version: r489

Yea, I don't get that X-Curse-Packaged-Version metadata either, one of the files at least has two entries, strangeness. Either way stanzilla, make sure you have the latest, latest release is v3.0.0, latest alpha is r540. And I'm still not sure how you got those errors. r489 didn't even have any real code in them for those bosses, maybe your addons aren't getting updated properly or something, very strange.

I have almost finished now the deDE-localization via the new system, and I have a question regarding this:

Is there anything else I need to do, or will in then be automatically implemented at some time, or do I still need to inform the author about it? This question not only applies to LittleWigs, but to all addons I'm trying to support with german translations.

I'm pretty sure the web localization has to be enabled in order for non-authors to even see the link. For example I don't see the Localization link for the BigWigs project, because it hasn't been enabled. Once a project enables the web localization such as LittleWigs has, then the source code files have to be modified so that the web information is pulled in when releases are made.

I have not changed the code to pull the web info yet. I was waiting for folks to get the translations updated. Now that all the current translations are fully or at least partially updated and I have released v3.0.0 with the old method, I'll probably update the svn code this week to start pulling from the web translations.

Yes, but combat logs are not useful for this, need Transcriptor logs (if you run the alpha code I have specific code that will make transcriptor notes that will be helpful)

morabi in gundrak could need a logfile as well.
I think we could refine the triggers for insanity and and i want to know wether littlewigs handles a interrupted transformation of morabi well

So you just want the bar stopped or a positive announcement that you stopped it or what?

I think I'll probably put out a released build today, and then we'll work away at the small things that remain.

@Ulic , you should import all translations that are already in LW into the localization.project.
I think im currently translating things we already translated ;)

Well if you look I tried to import some but they got screwed up. I think German is probably the only one I could import because it has the \### escape codes for the special characters. I tried to copy and past some Korean, but I think it's probably all screwed up since my client doesn't seem to know what those characters really are.

I think my plan right now is to maybe make a tweak or two this weekend and the release a 3.0.0 with the old style translations then move to the new wowace web translations and continue with bug fixes and minor additions.

i have to admit that i still prefer the old way with notepad++ and svn ;)

Yes, but with this method, Farook, who doesn't do svn can do updates, it also helps to show translations that are missing.

We can't do anything, even if we're logged in.

What link are you using that shows this? The web developer is asking.

    I don't have/see that:

Are you logged in? I guess I didn't mention that, you will need to create an account on wowace.com and make sure you are logged in. Logging in does two things, 1. Allows us to see who did what translation so we can yell at them if they majorly screwed up. It also allows me to see who's helped so that I could potentially distribute wowace rewards points, should they ever actually start handing them out.

Also, I'm working on the next Trascriptor. The best way you can help is post a log, state exactly what's wrong with a module, what needs changed (time x to time Y), and why. PM is always available if you don't wish to reveal inner tactics and such as it has been in the past.

I'm not sure what your plans out Funky, but some of my users have suggested that it might be nice to be able to set a boss modules to auto-enable logging when the boss module is activated. Only for modules that have the code set that it needs more logs, and of course still only if the user agrees to it.

Also, I'm not the greatest coder in the world, but I'm more than willing to help test things out for you or what not. Just let me know if you need anything. I also have a few very helpful transcriptor users that could probably help too.

I'll gonna have a look and hopefully can help a bit updating the deDE-part of it.

Edit: How do I save changes?

Just fill it in, you can use \195 escape codes or just enter it in, fill in what you can, then scroll to the bottom and hit save or save & continue.

Also there is an import option where you can import from the current code, you'll need import everything between the { and } (including the {}).

Last if you click on Namespaces you can get to the stuff for just that one specific boss.

I think I've got that fixed Yoshimo.

Also I've stated moving the translations into wowace.com's new web based translation system. It should make it easy enough so that anyone that fill in a web form can help translate files, and they don't have to mess with SVN.

That said, I can't copy any paste the translations in so well I don't think, especially the ones that use non-english characters, so if folks that are capable could help doing that it would be appreciated.

The Translation system for LittleWigs can be found at http://www.wowace.com/projects/little-wigs/localization/, just fill in the stuff that's missing, feel free to copy and paste from the current files if it works well for you. I don't have all the english translations posted yet, but plan to get them all there in the next day or so.

Stanzilla, do you know what revision that is? I made it a module function and I think it should be calling ok now.
