Not always yells. You can look at the bottom of the boss files and see where the triggers are used, and you should be able to see if it's some kind of damage spell or a yell or an emote, or whatever.Quote from
Well, i am downloading via ace-updater and checked through the little wigs files. There are only a few bosses that have been translated recently. The _trigger variable is mostly a yell as far as i can see from the transcritor file?

I love that idea. I don't have time to start the wiki page this weekend, but if you'd like to...let's stick the LW one at http://wowace.com/wiki/LittleWigs/Translations and then we can link to it from the main LW page.Quote from yoshimo »
I still see translations added to "old" instances like serpentshrine ;)
Maybe a list with missing translations would help?
like instanz:boss/mob:language(:message) for all those LW/BW modules out there on svn
so people know what they should record...

I would like to have little wigs working with german translations, i installed the transcriptor but i don?t know how i can offer my help for now?
Could someone give me a short introduction which lines i need to get the boss-warnings to work? Would it possible to do warnings for world-bosses on my own?
If you look at the files for each boss you will find the english translation listed near the top of each file. All the variables that end in _trigger have to the direct translations from the game, that is what your transcriptor recorded. The rest of the lines can be more loosely translated.
There are several bosses that already have German translations, so you might want to make a list before you start running every instances to gather logs.
As for world bosses, all the 25-man Outland bosses already have modules as a part of BigWigs, I'm not sure what else you'd want modules for. However anyone could really create a module for anything. Heck that's how LittleWigs started I wanted modules for 5-mans, so I wrote a few, and then decided to share them everyone else.

Way to recognize regular mount vs flying mount?
I'm trying to set up closegnome to to automatically equip a mount set based on whether I'm using my normal mount or my flying mount. Is there a way to do that aside from naming different item sets and manually switching to them?
I wasn't aware that there was any gear that worked on one and not on the other. I guess I'm confused why you'd want two different sets?

I'm running the latest version of everything. I even tried to delete banker and reinstalling it to no avail. Does anyone have a solution to this?
Maybe you've got a messed up set of the 'To Keep' set?

if Aspell ~= L["aura_normal"] and Aspell ~= L["aura_heroic"] then return end
The other localizations are still named "aura".
Well I added two new localizations, but thats a waste. So I changed it as suggested, just using 'aura' as normal and 'aura_heroic' as heroic.

I just wanted to report a bug in the Hellfire/Omar mod. It doesn't seem to filter any of the debuffs it sees, so I'm seeing warnings for everything, like "You have Weakened Soul!" on my priest and "You have Forbearance!" on my paladin.
I stuck this line of code near the top of the event function to fix it:
if ASpell ~= "Treacherous Aura" then return end
Great mod, thanks for all the work on it!
Thanks for the report. I was trying to make a catch all for both the debuffs. Blizzard thought it would cool to give the Heroic and Normal different names. :( Guess I'll just add an 'and' to the line you put in.
Aug 20, 2007Flight Form Fix -- Please test then I'll commit.Posted in: General AddOns
In the SpecialEvents-Mount-2.0.lua file find:
local txt, speed = gratuity:GetLine(2) if txt then _, _, speed = string.find(txt, mountSpeed) end
local txt, speed = gratuity:GetLine(2) if not txt:find(mountSpeed) and not txt:find(flightSpeed) then txt, speed = gratuity:GetLine(3) end if txt then _, _, speed = string.find(txt, mountSpeed) end
I think that should make the lib recognize it as a mount, of course the it's really a shapeshift, I'll try to talk to the community before I officially commit it, if it works.
