    I would back up your AddOns folder (as you should always do when moving to a different updater), but beyond that the Curse client seems to be working well.

    Agreed, it's been working fine for me since Monday when I moved over. The first few times it ran it kept asking me which version of some duplicate names I wanted, but it's stopped doing that. I plunked it directly down on top of ~100 addons, btw, with no significant problems. My only wish-list items at the moment are a "recent actions" frame so I can tell which mod just borked my UI, and a menu item to step back to previous versions, because people keep pushing dry-coded and broken addons to curse.

    I've had things that look like prat errors (broken chat window) arise from both forte warlock mod and unsolicited...if your chat window is broken, it's almost certainly something else, start disabling!

    Not to my knowledge :/ I'd be interested in hearing from anyone about one though. I haven't looked at the code, but I wonder how much maintenance would be required...maybe just adding the new spells and updating coefficients?

    AFAIK, the author no longer has a WoW subscription and is looking for someone to take over development.

    posted a message on Chatter- Ace3 chat mod (was Chatterbox)
    I keep coming back to Chatter every few months to see if I can switch to it from Prat, but there's two things it still doesn't do, that I know have been discussed (although I can't find it):

    1. Why can't I blank channel names? I know what [Guild] is, and I really don't want to see it.
    2. Is there any way to suppress channel join/leave spam?

    First of all, thanks for the slash numbers on Brutallus that were added a couple days ago. We were just wondering if you'd mind changing the "steadily increasing number" to cycle through 1-3, like in the Gurtogg Bloodboil fight, as the tanks are taunting back and forth every 3 slashes. I just fail slightly at dividing by 3 in my head sometimes!

    Not sure if this has been mentioned in earlier posts:

    When you disable certain text modules, their "blue boxes" still appear on reload even though the text is missing. You have to check/uncheck the text modules for them to go away every time the hud is loaded.
    I'm seeing the same thing as well. Kind of annoying :)

    Using a space makes a difference because it offsets chat by a space, it can be fixed to take a blank, I tweaked my copy of Chatter to do it.
    Would you mind posting your tweak? It might even get included then :)

    Channel Names
    Replace name with empty string doesn't work. If you use an empty editbox for the 'Guild' chat it doesn't replace it at all.
    Hi, I was just poking around at Chatter tonight, and I notice this bug from mid-April still seems to be around. I really don't want channel names on guild/raid/part, I already know what those channels are from their colors. Any chance someone would be able to fix this so I can use empty strings?

    Can we please, please get an option to disable invo backends? (ie, OneView) I'm really tired of the 1-2sec pause after every potion creation. OneView was worse, but AI also has a long pause, and it's really annoying when you're doing 50-100 a day.

    EBB embeds LibSharedMedia-3.0, so that doesn't need to be installed by itself (unless you're running disembedded). I think the dependency issue is a valid one, it's very surprising to install an Ace mod and not have access to the "standard" set of Ace textures/fonts that are available in every single other Ace mod, without a separate addon. If nothing else, it's very confusing.

    So, to be perfectly clear, in order to have any bar textures besides Blizzard's, we now also need to install the mod "SharedMedia", correct? Not SharedMedia-2.0, LibSharedMedia-2.0, LibSharedMedia-3.0, SharedMedia-Blizzard, or SharedMediaLib, right? If this is the case, this is crazy, can you *please* have EBB use the Ace2 textures/fonts already present, like every single Ace2 mod, or make SharedMedia a dependency?

    Small bug in the current version. Upon login and when zoning, the Blizzard buff frames are hidden, even if they should be displayed. Toggling the hide option twice re-displays them. Found the bug, it's at lines 257/258 in ElkBuffBars.lua:

    function ElkBuffBars:PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD()
    	self:HandleFrame_Blizzard_BuffFrame(true)
    	self:HandleFrame_Blizzard_TemporaryEnchantFrame(true)

    This always hides the frames...should be:
    function ElkBuffBars:PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD()
    	self:HandleFrame_Blizzard_BuffFrame(ElkBuffBars.db.profile.hidebuffframe)
    	self:HandleFrame_Blizzard_TemporaryEnchantFrame(ElkBuffBars.db.profile.hidetenchframe)
