Feb 26, 2011Thank you for the quick reply and thanks for the all the great addons, I just noticed I use most of them!Posted in: General AddOns
It works great for my left and right bars at the bottom, which is the most important for me. However, since when I go change that line in lua code, it's a global change in the addon, the vertical bar I have on the right of the screen has now a bigger padding between the buttons. I tried to look in the SavedVariables folder, but the only option saved in there is "padding", which is hpad, not vpad.
So, is it possible for me to make the change you suggested for only specific bar or not? If not, no big deal, I'll just make that bar horizontal and that will solve this issue, but if there's a way, I'd be dumb not to ask :-)
Feb 26, 2011Hello all,Posted in: Unit Frames
I can't find how to unlink the party frames.
I currently have my player and target frames just atop my action bars in the middle of the screen, player slightly on the left, target slightly on the right.
When in group, I'd like to have 2 party members to to left of my player frame, and the two others to the right of the target frame. Ideally, they would all form a line as follows:
Party #2 - Party #1 - Player - Target - Party #3 - Party #4
Is it possible? Thanks for any help
Feb 26, 2011Hello,Posted in: General AddOns
Here's what I want my UI to look like:
I use the 10 action bars there: 3 with 10 buttons in the bottom middle (bars 1-3), 3 with 3 buttons at the bottom left (bars 4-6), 3 with 3 buttons at the bottom right (bars 7-9) and 1 with 12 buttons vertically on the right edge of the screen (bar 10).
As you can see, no issue with mage.
However, I run into an issue with my warrior. I did not know it, but apparently, what I see as bar 1, when I'm in defensive stance, is in fact bar 8. Therefore, button 1-2-3 on the top bar in the middle of my screen are the same as the 3 buttons I have in the bottom-right.
The only way I can see to solve this issue it to use only one bar set up as 3 x 3 for my bottom-left and bottom-right. So I tried that, but my problem is then that I can't separate the lines enough so that they line up with my middle bars without also separating the columns by the same distance.
Is there a way for me to say I want my lines separated by X pixels, but my columns by Y pixels? I'm happy to go much in the LUA code, I had to do it for other addons, so this one is not different, but I have no idea if it's possible and, even if it is, where to look.
Thanks and sorry for the wall of text.
