Just a few side notes. I do go outside i do have a life outside of WoW and i was just trying to ask some questions and hoping to get answers beside the normal flames.
What flames? Are you one of those people that call anything you don't like to hear a flame or "negative"? The reality is that it will take as long as necessary to perform maintenance, it's how it works for every company out there.
*edit* And if you think they don't hire quality people, look here and see the requirements for the open positions in Blizzard
I'd also like to know the answer to this. I don't want my addons included in any kind of compilations, premade UIs, guild packs, or whatever else you want to call them, whether it's manually packaged by the uploader, or dynamically packaged by the site. If you like my addon, and want to share it with other people, give them a link to the download page.
Not to be a butt but should I ask permission before downloading and using your mod too?
Especially if curse pulls of dynamic linking, it still gets you credit (if that's what you are looking for) if that's what you want
But it's still in the class rollercoasting (i still recall screenshots from SV hunters reaching 4000DPS from the early days of beta)
I'm not sure what you are talking about, all the classes are now going through the refinement process, making sure the talent or skill is working within the parameters set for the skill, all the balancing and scaling issues are done and just getting tweaked to release status.
As for the whole cusrefoge "fiasco", just be glad someone stepped up to keep WoWAce runing and available to those that use it, without curse, the site would have to shutter up
Everything I've tried that wasn't Logitech either died fast or was uncomfortable, especially all the MS made mice I wasted money on, died too fast, my Ex has a Razer Copperhead, but it just doesn't feel right to me, but she loves it. Don't know about Razer keyboards, I just but Logitech every time, especially after using the horrible thing HP called a keyboard
If I am a mage, and I'm at 120% of the tank's threat at range (Blizzard's function would return me at 1.2/1.3 = 92.3% threat), it is still highly useful to know how large that remainder 7.7% is. 7.7% of 100k threat is 7700 damage, 7.7% of 500k threat is 38k damage. I know that I can pull aggro with one spell that crits at 8k in the former, but not the latter.
In this regard, absolute difference between you and the tank is far more useful than a percentage difference, if my maximum burst (say a ret pally can burst 10k in 1 second easily) is 10k, then a safe buffer zone is always to stay 15k absolute value below the tank.
Same for me, as a Rogue I need to ride the tanks aggro till just about taking over to be worth a Raid slot, so I would need more than just a percentage
For Linux64, only one real question. Do you browse or frequent sites that use flash? Currently there are a few hackish ways to get flash to work in 64bit Linux, but from my experiences on my laptop, even when setup correctly, it's still buggy and occasionally still won't work. But if you avoid flash sites like the plague, then FF works nicely in 64. Now as soon as either flash has a proper 64bit release or when one of the flash clones was a stable 64bit version, then I'll reload Linux64 on it again.
Umm... So because you are willing to share your information with others, he's obligated to do the same? Thanks, but No. If you don't want him using your info for whatever purpose you see fit, then don't put your information out there in a freely accessible manner.
Since Blizzard "open sourced" the API, and addons are based off of that, it's implied that most of the codework would fall within the OS standard
That's my general view on the whole mess Mazzle created.
I'll try and adjust the SS, Photobucket changed their thumbnails to full sized SS for some retarded reason, and since I get booted to the index page after posting, forgot to double check the image
Just about ready to start over and throw Arch Linux on it, still have to decide if I want to keep Vista for gaming or just do it in linux, I'll probly dual boot and keep whatever gives me the best performance when raiding
Ah, no... Quickie's proof of concept for the most part, a startingpoint for whatever fool writes a minimap launcher display... oh yea you said you were gonna do that didn't you?
Yes, I'm slow today.
Github has tarball and zip downloads. You don't need to clone the repo, especially since I'll likely never touch Quickie again.
Quckie is a nice proof of concept, hopefully someone grabs it and does something with it

Any plans on making it available for DL?

How many of those can you do? I have an IT degree and still don't qualify for any of their openings
