    I figured that out last night, under the layout editor (for the layout used for your Player Frame) go to Indicators, there is a tab for Soul Shards, you can select from the drop down box Position(which item its attached to, HP, Mana, Portrait, etc.) and then then Location on that item.

    Thanks! It would be great if we could customize this further. I am using Outside Left placement and need to nudge the Soul Shards even further to the left. I'll put in a request for a feature enhancement once the dust settles.

    Thanks for the soul shard frame. For some reason, I can't figure out how to reposition this. Any ideas?

    I second that. I'm pretty sure you'll always want to see the top of the list, never the bottom, no matter if bars grow up- or downwards. And yea, scrolling should stay the same. I'd love to use the feature as my meters are on the bottom of the screen, it would be much appreciated if you could adjust that.

    For quite some time Skada users have inquired about the behavior of the meters when set to "grow upwards." Many of us use this feature because we prefer to place Skada at the bottom of our screens. The problem is that Skada defaults to show the bottom of the list, which makes the feature pretty unusable as you need to see the top of the list for threat and only the top is interesting for damage, healing, etc. Has this been fixed? Thanks.

    I have two issues with Skada that have been mentioned but not adressed fixed as far as I know:

    - Behaviour of of the meters if set to "grow upwards", see
    http://forums.wowace.com/showpost.php?p=277851&postcount=198

    If set to grow upwards, scrolling is inverted and Skada shows the bottom of the list which makes the feature pretty unusable as you have to see the top of the list for Threat and only the top is interesting for damage/healing/etc meters.

    I second this. Any ETA? Thanks for a great addon.

    Is there an option to ignore 10 mans? I tried finding this but could not. Thanks.

    I have Skada bars set to "Reverse Bar Growth," which works well with the placement of Skada at the bottom of my screen. What I don't like is that I must always scroll up to see the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. ranked positions, as Skada shows the bottom ranked positions by default (usually venomous snakes). Could you please have an option so that Skada shows the top ranked positions by default when using "Reverse Bar Growth"? Thanks.

    Is there anyway to not show damage from Venomous Snakes and Vipers? I posted about this a couple months ago but haven't seen a reply. Thanks.

    posted a message on LuaTexts Official Thread
    I used to have a Dogtag text that reported a target's health as follows:
    [Status or (PercentHP:Percent '|' HP:VeryShort)]

    I tried to recreate this in lua texts as follows:
    local s = Status(unit)
    if s then
    return s
    end
    local cur, max = HP(unit), MaxHP(unit)
    return "%s%% || %s",Percent(cur,max),Short(cur,true)

    Unfortunately, I find that this text does not regularly update while attacking a boss. Did I do something wrong?

    I have switched to lua texts for efficiency and can pretty much figure out everything myself. However, I used a truncated name text that I can't convert to lua. I imagine this is simple but would appreciate any help. Thanks.

    [Name:Truncate(16, nil)] [(AFK or DND):Angle]
    vs.
    return '%s %s%s%s',Name(unit),Angle(AFK(unit) or DND(unit))

    Is it possible to color "Combat text" on the unit frame by the type of gain (health vs. mana)? I'd like to color my health gains in green and my mana gains in blue. Thanks.

    Use the :Truncate(x) function (like [Name:Truncate(10, nil)] for example) to shorten the max length of the name to something suitable for your frame size

    Thanks for the great tip!

    On the target's health bar, I have the mob's health text on the left (as a percentage) and the mob's name (standard) on the right. Some of these mobs have such long names though and then unfortunately the name text ends too far to the left and covers up the health text. Any way around this? Thanks.

    This is a great addon. Thanks! Could we please have the option to show less information in the damage bar? For example, could we have the option to just show the player's name and total damage as opposed to "1. Player's Name 23.6k (5464.0, 12.7%)" which ends up being too long unless there is room to make the window very wide.
