First off I'm going to state simply how much I currently enjoy this addon and the benefits it provides.
Now on to the reason I am posting; I, like many others, would like Librameister to support Libram of Mending and the PvP Resilience Librams. Adding in this support would make the addon as close to perfection as possible.

That means :
a) The author of Cryo hasn't seen it and those that have seen it - including me - have no clue what could cause the issue.
b) repeat a.
Just be more patient, if after a day or two no one replied, then it's time to bump it :) Or check the Cryolisis2 thread.
I waited 2 days before bumping :P
I'll check the Cryo2 thread again, but I don't remember seeing anything.
Ah yes, that's why....There's no Cryo2 thread to be found ><

Unless I'm much mistaken when you put the bars left or right they go vertical.
Well, true, but you can still have them really wide (they simply will just fade vertically)

Sav uses ZMobDB and eePanels.
People really should mention that....
Sav's post just gave the coding and screenshots, and said nothing of extra addons needed to make that look.
Not very nice :(

You can't "detach" them. The portraits in that screenshot are provided by a separate addon (I don't happen to know the name), and the texts are placed outside the unit frames themselves, with a blank space at the top of the unit frame above the health and mana bars. The unit frame background is set to 0% alpha so it's completely invisible, and the background behind the name/level text is added with a separate addon like eePanels.
There's a picture in the "Post cool Pitbull Layouts Here!" that looks a LOT like what the OP is asking for....
Savantido posted it, along with the coding (s)he used to make it.
Mar 10, 2008I "troll" (can't think of a better word to use) the WoW UI and Macros Forums quite a bit.Posted in: Unit Frames
I see a lot of people who are new to Pitbull ask about why their Unit Frames are semi-transparent, and how to fix it.
I was wondering if it would be possible to either have Combat Fader disabled (or all the alphas set to 100%) upon initial loading of Pitbull so that it won't confuse the new users as much :)

I hope not. The only option of this kind I'd like to see would be the ability to do:
Other than that, I don't see any reason you'd want to have your health and mana bars in totally separate areas of the screen...
You can already do that; go to the frame you want, and go to "Bars", then choose HP/mana bars and choose "left/right" for positions, instead of center.
I understand why the OP is after this; it would pretty much make most HUDs obsolete, as you could customize this into a type of HUD in a way that you want.
However, I was trying to mess around with doing a straightline HUD using Pitbull, and the only issue I had using the current features was getting the text set up...
Mar 8, 2008Ooooh that's really a neat idea!Posted in: AddOn HELP!
I'll bug my husband to look at some tutorials, etc. later and see if he can figure it out. Meanwhile, I'm tagging this thread so I can check back.
I use a bunch of panels, so if I set this up, I could end up with half my screen ablaze! XD

I seem to have an issue with my Pet Bar buttons not being locked, which lets me accidentally drag them off the bar in combat. Anyone else having this issue, and/or something I might be doing wrong? I'm using 3.1.2 r63833 at the moment.
I've run into this issue as well, and me say this; it SUCKS for a frost mage (I'll click Freeze, attempt to click where I want it to cast, and instead I've got the icon on my mouse) and it rather dangerous for everyone, I assume.

Tell me what colors would be less subtle and I'll try to accomodate your request. :)
Warning: Don't ask for purple. It's still too subtle for raid members, and it is easily confused with enemies. (I tried it and it was scary.)
Edit: And to answer your other question, raid and party members can have different shapes, different colors, or both. Raid members could even be invisible if you didn't want to see them.
Ohhh, that's another idea for a skin! Ok, ok, you've put ideas into my head!
1) A basic skin, but with raid members no longer visible.
2) A recolored skin where raid members stay blue, but party members become more noticeable through a more vibrant color; possibly orange?
3) A skin where the colors stay the same, but the party and raid members have different shapes.
4) Various combinations of this *evil grin*
Have fun, go wild, and let me see your true genius!
Mar 8, 2008I and other mages are currently experiencing a rather annoying error if we happen to choose to turn off "Constrict Buttons to Sphere" when we log back in.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
Steps to reproduce:
Turn off "Constrict Buttons to Sphere".
Either relog or do a reloadui.
Enjoy as the following issues occur:
The buttons choose random areas to go to in various spots around the screen (the sphere itself stays in place, but not the buttons).
The buttons decide to play costume party; click on your mana gem button and watch yourself evocate (that's what I have happen), or various other surprises!
The only current way to fix it is to reenable the Constriction, then turn it back off and move everything where you want it again.
You can check in the UI and Macros Forums (wow site) for Avathar's post on Cryolysis 2, as that is where I originally started this thread, and there are likely responses there (I know of at least one thus far).
Pleeeeease fix my beloved addon!
PS: If necessary, I can easily provide screenshots later (I'll do various things and take screenshots). However, it's time for me to go take a snooze, and I'm thinking that my post was detailed enough to allow the author to test it (although I could be wrong).
Mar 8, 2008So, has a tutorial on how to add your own Blip textures come out yet? My main issue is wanting to tweak the colors; IMO, the difference between party and raid members is too subtle most of the time.Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
EDIT: (Per Nan)
The only real thing I want adjusted as far as Blip textures goes is to have the color difference between party and raid more obvious (it's two shades of blue and rather subtle at the moment). I don't really care what colors you choose as long as it isn't pink. I also would certainly "settle" for having two different textures for party and raid, but I'm not entirely sure that's possible.
I have no specific ideas in mind, just the general complaint as far as keeping track of your party while raiding goes.
PS: How'd you know it was me? Hehe.
May 16, 2007I'm having trouble with Banzai not doing anything; I've made sure to update Pitbull, as well as making sure the mod was properly enabled (I use Waterfall/Niagra, so I made sure the Pitbull Banzai module was enabled).Posted in: Unit Frames
