posted a message on Looking for Buff replacement
I basically have the same issue as the OP. Bison isn't working properly anymore ever since 3.3 and I'm sort of fed up with it right now. I've tried PhanxBuffs, but as good an addon it is, I actually want to see the remaining time on my buffs even if they're longer than 30 seconds and I want to be able to scale down the duration time, as the default is rather big for my taste.

Unless I'm overlooking some options in Phanx's, which I would love to be pointed out if I did.

@Vimes: For me the icons/text start blinking when the buff has 30 seconds remaining, which on itself isn't all that bad, but it's in a fasion where you just lose overview, and specially in pvp this is really, really annoying.

posted a message on Prat 3.0 Chat Mod Framework
I have a slight problem that I can't figure out, but I'm not 100% sure it's to do with Prat.

Usually, when I hold down shift and scroll while hovering my mouse over my chatframe, it will scroll either all the way up, or all the way down. Recently, this is not working on certain characters anymore as where others still do.
On my mage it actually stopped working overnight, worked last night, didn't after the maintenance.

I tried finding the function that allows me to do this action, but I can't find it, any tips?

Probably a stupid question, but when I tried to run Quartz 3, it didn't do anything, so I was wondering. Do I need to have Ace 3 installed for it to work or does it come with it's own Ace 3 framework?

Looking at the changes made, and the person committing the changes, I would say they are "life support" commits only, not a sign of active development.

Yeah I did notice that, although it gave me some hope. I suppose it was a fool's hope ^^

I might be jumping to conclusions here, but seeing this getting updated gave me some hope for the future of this great addon.

Anyone in the position of proving me right or wrong here?

I'll give it a shot later once I got some time to set it up.
Might be a promising replacement for Bison.

It's awfully quiet around Quartz lately. Any progress or even any word on its successor or would it be better to just drop it and start using a different castbar addon?

posted a message on PitBull 4.0
    Ran into some problems today.

I renamed my character and upon doing so, PB4.0 decided to delete all my presets and also decided I can't change the opacity of the background anymore. Anyone else had the same problem and is there any way I can get the background to be transparent again instead of black?

EDIT: Fixed the background problem, I just disabled that module.
EDIT2: Fixed the presets issue as well, so consider this post as never posted =P Retarded me had the wrong profile loaded

Might be a bit simple, but how about NevCast for a name?

I think that name is clear enough and links to the author as well.

Probably a bug or at least not optimal memory usage. There's probably some places where we should be reusing tables that we're not.

That's what I was assuming already, but I figured asking never hurts. Thanks for the fast reply.

I'm not 100% sure if this has been asked before already since I couldn't find it, but here goes anyway.

During raids mainly, Pitbull 4 tends to rise up to 3 or 4 times the memory usage as if it was passive. Is this normal behavior or is it intended?

ok, don't blame me if I'm a retard and I missed a post (or 2), but I assume(/hope) that custom coloring of the frames is still on the to do list?

Having a bunchload of errors myself. Health % and amount stopped working amongst others. Been trying to troubleshoot, adjusting back and forth without any luck. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Did you update through the curse updater as well?

I updated all my addons with the Curse updater today and I found myself having a load of errors with Pitbull.

When I switched back to an older version, it gave me thousands of errors on LibDogTag 3.0 so I assume the true problem is in either one of those.

Wondering now if anyone else had problems or that it's just the Curse Updater messing up since I already have my serious doubt about this program.

Assuming I have the same error as the person above me, but since he didn't include the actually error, I'll post it, as it might mean something to the authors.

I basically get 2 errors, the first one goes as followed:

[2008/10/09 23:35:22-1718-x1]: Gratuity-2.0-52819:61: attempt to index field 'vars' (a nil value)
    Gratuity-2.0-52819:211: in function `SetBagItem'

    LibRockTimer-1.0-1118 (FuBar):289: in function <...Ons\FuBar\libs\LibRockTimer-1.0\LibRockTimer-1.0.lua:227>

Second error is almost nothing and looks like:

[2008/10/09 23:42:53-1720-x1]: Gratuity-2.0-52819:61: attempt to index field 'vars' (a nil value)
