    Well ofc, hardware plays the big role and just putting 3.8ghz dual core + 4g ram + 4870 like I did just makes wow keep around or over 100fps in busy shattrath, but you can still get some fps more for keeping less cpu-unfriendly programs running while playing. It does not really matter how many idle processes you have, 5 or 50, but how many cpu consuming - easy to see on task manager. Sometimes browser left on site with heavy flash/jscript running can chunk on cpu all the time (seen on firefox+mmo-champion for example, 10-12% cpu usage) so first thing to do is knock such programs down. Second, if you have a bit more ram, 2gb at min, it is not a bad idea to turn off windows virtual memory - windows does a good job in low-memory conditions by trying to swap any page not used for some time, but hdd cache making program's memory being paged and the constant trashing even with 4g of ram is bad, windows goes lot quicker without it. Third - hdd... wow, and every recent 4+gb game is loading quite many things from the hdd. If it is badly fragmented, as it happens in time with constant installs/uninstalls/patches/browser cache/etc, game starts to load slower and slower. Defragmenting really does work here but there is another thing - the outer tracks of the hdd are being read almost twice faster than the inner ones, with proper defragment program you can have wow being put on the outermost tracks so you get best loading times.

    Well it is my favorite hud too :/ Author has last logged in on 6th july, we can very well assume mod is dead. It is one thing that some mod simply does not need improvement/fixing, but completely another - the author to be mia for months. I will go check IceHud, from all the hud mods it looks the most active and have even wotlk support which is simply perfect - the 3.0.2 is already on the ptr

    NeoTron, I find ButtonBin extremely nice addon that not only looks great but solves the need to manually arange the brokers, just perfect. I have some issues with it however - I simply can't get some brokers to show, for example StatBlock_FPS, StatBlock_Latency, StatBlock_XP, Broker_SysMon. In general I can't get any info about the XP/fps/latency. The brokers show on the perferences of ButtonBin and I can enable/disable then but nothing changes. I have 7 more broker things that are working perfectly :( What I'm doing wrong?

    Adirelle, thanks for the answer mate.

    I have solo tested, not dared doing raid test, so I wrongly assumed I will see all the debuffs on the mob, my bad. However, I'm thinking what I need may just be out of the scope of the addon :(
    As a rogue, I want to have several groups of timers for:

    1. Important buffs on me - filtered list where I only select to show the viable raid buffs - so it does not get huge, but allow me to check fast what buffs I have and what I'm missing
    2. Debuffs on me
    3. Small group of 2 bars - 1 is Slice & Dice buff and the other - Rupture debuff on target - this is what I base my combat cycle on
    4. Important boss debuffs - selected list of debuffs to show on the boss, both mine and applied by the others, that include mele viable debuffs and my poisons
    5. Important combat buffs on me - small selected list of buffs that contains for example my trinket and sword procs, heroism, AR, BF, etc - it allows me to precisely use cooldowns when they will do best job - stacking haste abilities with AP procs for example

    So yeah, 5 bar groups with quite a mixed stuff in, I'm not asking you to do it, just informative if similar capabilities are in your plans for the future ;)

    I got the time to test the addon and liked it, but can't really use. Is there buff/debuff filtering planned? For example whitelist and blacklist - if you add something to the whitelist, then only those effects show for the selected group, if you add blacklist - all but those mentioned. For example I don't want to see the 40 debuffs on the boss, but only the few ones that are worth to me. Can be done as fixed list or learning mode, I guess fixed list is easier and less cpu consuming

    Quote from haste »

    oUF only touches the players castbar, but it will hide the target one IF a layout spawns a target frame, as blizzards target castbar is anchored to their target frame. In other words: You only need to re-anchor the default bar:
    Target_Spellbar_AdjustPosition = function() end
    TargetFrameSpellBar:SetParent(UIParent)
    TargetFrameSpellBar:ClearAllPoints()
    TargetFrameSpellBar:SetPoint"CENTER"

    Thanks haste, back to oUF it seems :D
    I have tried inserting that code into almost every line of the layout I use (and managed to crash wow at least dozen of times with pure virtual call during the /reloadui) - oUF_TsoHG to be precise but to no avail, but removing the target frame and all related - tot, focus made the default castbar showing again :D
    I think I can live with that, today will be first raid test of oUF (if I can figure why banzai is not coloring the agro target tho)

    I guess, thing is, I know 0 of lua code, can move things around but not write target castbar that filters some spells. And if there is no way to get rid of whatever ouf is doing to my blizzard castbar, I'm back to grid it seems :(

    Have you tried enabling it in the blizzard options?

    Yep, blizzard target castbar is enabled, if I disable oUF I can see it fine, just does not work with oUF running so I'm wondering how to stop oUF from disabling it :p

    Yep, it has, how can I disable it so I get blizzard castbar to show? I even removed the castbar.lua from oUF and still can't get blizzard one back?

    Guys, I fear I need castbar help... I'm atm Grid user, but being a rogue I use it only for a compact display, having HuD I don't need player/target/focus too. Anyway thats my 2nd try to move to oUF and still having glitches - oUF_TsoHG suits me very well, but I'm missing the blizzard castbar, actually no enemy castbar shows at all when I activate oUF. I'm using an addon - NSNI (aka deadened) to supress some spells being casted on the default blizzard castbar and need to either get blizzard castbar working back or same functionality with oUF :(
    Any ideas?
