The fixes are NOT the ones posted on this forum, but rather fix the addon without removing any functionality. I could use feedback about things that are still broken from anyone that has a lvl 80 that is not a rogue, warrior, or hunter.

Oct 18, 2008Just got back into the game and was looking for MobHealth and saw that LibMobHealth has been deprecated .. What's a good addon that puts the health on the unit frames that uses UnitHealth ??Posted in: AddOn HELP!
Edit: The reason I'm asking is that I want to use the Blizzard UnitFrames, but have both percentages and exact xxx/xxxx values. I'll probably have to write an addon to do this

When speedymon decided to update Aloft's .toc to say it was 2.3 compatible, he also inserted some garbage characters in the file - the net result was that CoreModules/CastBarOverlay.lua wasn't being loaded at all, and causing the problems all listed above.
I've committed a fixed .toc file, which should rectify the problem.
Hey, I just discovered this. I'm sorry, I had no clue that that had happened. I use notepad++, and I guess it misread the file or something, cause the only line my cursor ever touched was the Interface line. My apologies to those that were affected. I never noticed it because I don't have a toon that really uses the castbar.
Roartindon, I had assumed that since no changes had been done since October that you were offline, or working on something else now, and since I had seen no problems in the addon with 2.3, it would be ok to update the TOC.. Now I know better.
Again, I am sorry to all that were affected by this travesty, and will more thoroughly check my changelogs immediately after a commit so I can catch problems like this before they snowball.

ItemPrice-1.0 has been de-supported for a while now and is even deleted from the SVN. So it's definitely no new. You shouldn't have it in your addons-folder at all. I'm not sure if the others are active or not. But they aren't new either.
yea itemprice-1.0 has been replaced by itemprice-1.1, as for the others, sometimes it helps if you list all of your addons, that way we can look thru them to see if any pop out at us as to needing or not needing an embed

I still have problems with the tooltip WITHIN the bag...it dosnt show. Is there a solution to this or is it another addon that fecks it up ??
I keep updating all my addon with WAU....but it hasnt been the same since 2.2
Most likely it's another addon that messes it up. To test, disable all addons but Onebag. Some addons that are known to cause problems with tooltips (but have been updated to not cause those problems) are MonkeyQuest, and ItemRack. There are others, but those are the 2 big ones I know of.

However, when I click the button to buy, the text above the button, and the button itself both don't hide, like they should, so I could end up overbuying..
Also, it doesn't seem to be taking into account for if I already have some reagents in my inventory, as I had 1 Maiden's Anguish in my inventory already but it still bought 20 (only had 20 deadly poison queued), so I ended up with 21..
Nov 1, 2007Hmm. It seems that the issue Sorren was referring to is not what I had been looking at after all, and I am unable to reach him for more info. If anyone is using the NON automatically sort and collapse bars mode, and is having anything that seems odd or different from before I started working on the mod, please post info here.Posted in: General AddOns
On a side note though, I did fix the issue I was looking at where the bars when set to grow upward would appear overlapping the anchor. Until I have more time to look into it, you might need to do a reload to make changes to the setting apply, depending on what you use for the sort-and-collapse option. Best bet is that if you are going to change the group growth direction, reload the interface after doing so to make sure it sticks either way.
On a second side note, I am going to start (slowly) working on the new version of the addon. It will not be called CooldownTimers, I haven't decided on a name yet, but when I do, I will post it here. At first it will be rigid and inflexible, but I will, over time, add the options back.

I also fixed several other bugs with skillet. Please svn up your copy ackis so you dont fix bugs that I have already fixed lol. The button (and only the button) is now 100% working in all cases with skillet.. No changes should need to be made to it.
There was an issue with loading the game with skillet not in standby and then putting it into standby where the button still wouldnt show up on the default tradeskill window. To fix it I had to remove the AddOnInstalled variable completely, and put skillet checking into AddButton and into CreateFrame.. The variable was unneeded anyways, as you can just call the check each time since TRADE_SKILL_SHOW would have called it each time anyways

Also is there a way to implement an option for specializations so the scan skips all goblin engineering recipes when scanning my gnome engineer e.g. ? If /arl display specialities is supposed to do that it doesn't work for gnome / goblin engineering. Another issue is that you can only create certain 2.1 goggles for your armor class. As a paladin I'm able to create Furious Gizmativ Goggles (plate) for example but no Deathblow X11 Goggles (leather). /arl display classes doesn't work here.
Another asset would be to specify the source more precisely like:
R (xyz) - Recipe gained from from having a certain faction level with xyz.
D (BoE) - BoE drop
D (BoP) - BoP drop
L - Limited supply
L (A) - Limited supply (alliance only)
T - Trainer
T (xyz) - Trainer for a specific specialization
Q (AH) - Quest for both horde and alliance.
Q (A) and so on...
The specializations option is there, but not working. That is something that is plans to work on in the very near future.

Yeah, the problem is that a new button is being created an passed to the function in Skillet's ThirdPartyHooks each time the window is opened. I fired off a message to Ackis about this and am currently pondering how to deal with it in the Skillet code.
It's tricky because a new button *is* being added each time the window is opened, and the old one is still there (just hidden).
Simple enough. Just add documentation to ThirdPartyHooks saying that it needs to be unhidden once it has been created.. Should be able to call button:Show() right?
