I'll speak for Pastamancer! Everything that's in an "advanced" menu could be completely removed without affecting the usability of Grid.
Lol I dont know about that. When I load default grid the size of the frame is smaller then my pinky nail ( yeah I use .64 UI scale ). <3 advanced options :P

I really enjoy this addon but I have one problem with it. As a raid leader if I try to select MTs I get a msg that UI function is blocked by ClearFont2 addon. Disabling ClearFont2 fixes it so I think the issue lies in this mod :(

GridStatusHots is working fine for me. What problem do you have?
EDIT. I found the culprit addon that was causing the problem. It works fine now.

I tried using all the mentioned indicators for druid but nothing shows up. I reinstalled grid and gridstatushots and nothing changed.Posted in: Grid & Grid2

It's still [Outline]. Look in the dogtag help in-game.
Awesome, thanks Seerah. I haven't switched to DogTag-3.0 yet and I recall a post saying there was no outline tag sometime ago. I guess I don't have the excuse to avoid it any longer 8)

You need to have your border and background changes in one script if you are using the same event. Like so:
function eePanels2:TargetFrameVisibility(self, event, ...) local _, class = UnitClass("target"); if class == "WARRIOR" then eePanel1:SetBackdropBorderColor(0.780,0.611,0.431,1) eePanels2.db.profile.panels.background.frame:SetGradientAlpha("VERTICAL", 0.05, 0.05, 0.05, 0.47, 0.79, 0.67, 0.59, 1.00) elseif .. (etc)
eePanels2:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD", eePanels2.TargetFrameVisibility) eePanels2:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_TARGET_CHANGED", eePanels2.TargetFrameVisibility)
eePanels2 refers to the addon eePanels2 not Panel number.

what are you using for PartyFrames? Pitbul really jacks you at this point, as it recycles frames may give the party members that are just joining one of the recycled frames it used for a Raid Unit
I used to code you posted as well as checked the names of the frames. Pitbull recycles the frames after joining raid. It also seems to change the party unit names when zoning to certain instances :( . I guess my choices are to unparent the panels and use strictly Hide/Show or to double them up ( there are 2 names it seems to be using for party frames ).

Thanks for fixing parenting issue.
I have a question that maybe comes from my misunderstanding how the events are updated. When I leave BG or Arena while being in the party ( raid frames go away and party frames are back ) the panels parented to party units are no show. Leaving and joining the party again doesn't seem to fix it, only /rl.
this is my script for party memeber 1:
self:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD") self:RegisterEvent("PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED") self:RegisterEvent("RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE")
local visible = self:GetParent():IsVisible() local pmems = GetNumPartyMembers() local rmems = GetNumRaidMembers() -- if (pmems > 0 and pmems < 6 and rmems < 1) then self:Show() else self:Hide() end local _, class = UnitClass("party1"); if class == "WARRIOR" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(0.76,0.51,0.44,0.37) elseif class == "PRIEST" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(1,1,1,0.37) elseif class == "DRUID" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(1,0.71,0.43,0.37) elseif class == "HUNTER" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(0.70, 0.95,0.68,0.37) elseif class == "MAGE" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(0.69,0.80,0.93,0.37) elseif class == "PALADIN" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(0.97,0.69,0.81,0.37) elseif class == "SHAMAN" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(0.56,0.67,1,0.37) elseif class == "WARLOCK" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(0.74,0.61,0.97,0.37) elseif class == "ROGUE" then self:SetBackdropBorderColor(1,0.91,0.62,0.37) end
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance,
