Any chance we can specify which skills to include in the new pulse feature, or at least which groups?
Maybe even how long the pulse stays up for individual skills/groups?

One of the features I really like in Pitbull, which I've been hoping to see in IceHud too, is an "energy ticker", but for the 5-second mana rule.
Basically, whenever a spell is cast that uses MP, a ticker similar to the rogue energy one should be started, counting to 5 seconds.

posted a message on Aloft - Customized Nameplates - Official Thread
There is one thing left which stops me from using Aloft full-time:

While I'm loving the option to disable mouse interaction with the nameplates (I can't get used to mousing on the nameplates - I constantly select wrong targets), the plates still seem to block mouse input entirely.
What I'd like it to do, and I've seen other addons (NECB being one) doing similar, is to allow the mouse to interact through the plate. So if I right-click and drag on a frame, my camera will turn as if I'd right-clicked anywhere else. If I click on a nameplate, when there's a unit standing behind it, I'll target the unit behind the nameplate rather than the one who the nameplate belongs to (or not target anything at all, with the current disabled mouse setting).

Any chance of that making it in? :)

I like the whole "green border around buffs" thing. I also like CyCircled. The two don't seem to play well together - can anything be done about that?

Well, I too use cyCircled, and I can tell you it really depends on the skin you choose. I myself modified my local copy of Square Onyx Gloss so that it would show up better. Specifically I modified OnyxActive so that it highlights the border in addition to the tiny triangle up top. I'd commit it, but then I'd have another thing to support. :)

I meant more to the effect of if it was possible to either overlay the green border on top of the skin or, more likely, to offer alternatives such as coloring the entire button green (like it's red for out-of-range, or blue when out of mana), or something. Maybe allow us to set the size of the green border, so that reducing it would effectively move the border further into the button, so it could be inside the virtual "frame" of whatever texture we're using?

Cooldowns seem to ignore page switching now - at least with CTRL-paging. I haven't had a chance to test stances yet. I don't think this used to be a problem? Right now, if I use a skill on my main bar, that skill's cooldown is also displayed on my CTRL-bar. If I use the skill on the CTRL-bar, its own cooldown is then temporarily displayed until my next page switch, at which point the main bar's cooldowns seem to take over again.

As of revision 32414, I believe all of the cooldown issues are solved. Of course, I've said the same for about ten revisions prior, so...

Just tested r32441 and I'm getting slightly different behaviour:
Cooldowns work fine now when a skill on just one of the pages is used (in previous versions, I believe the cooldown was shown on both bars if a skill on either one was used). However, when skills on the same button of both pages are used, their cooldowns still seem to overwrite each other, so that only one of the cooldowns is shown, but it's shown on both pages.

I'm getting some odd behaviour with one of my macros - but not others. With the problematic macro, the icon is never shown on my bars (but it's there - I can drag it off the button and it'll show under my mouse), and if I mouse over it, I get this error:
InfiniBar-1.0\MacroSupport.lua:59: bad argument #2 to 'strsplit' (string expected, got nil)

    Here's the problematic macro:
    # showtooltip Purple Elekk
/cast [combat] Ghost Wolf; [modifier:ctrl] Ghost Wolf; Purple Elekk

Here's another macro, which works just fine:
    # showtooltip Mageweave Bandage
/use [help] Mageweave Bandage; [target=player] Mageweave Bandage

This might be related to the names of these macros... First, try dragging the bugged macro on to the bar again from the Blizzard macro frame. If that doesn't work, check to make sure there isn't another macro with the same name. If there is, rename this one, if not, let me know. The line you're reporting is the line that splits macros into it's constituent lines.

btw, are the #showtooltip lines working? I'd think not, but it'll be an easy fix if not.

Just checked, and it was a naming thing. I had a macro on my general macro tab named the same as the one I was using on my character-specific tab. Changing the names to be unique solved it. Thanks :)
    # showtooltip works flawlessly, as far as I've seen :)

    Finally, a question:
One of the things that intrigued me about the original post was the ability to override stuff on a button, like the cooldown. I can't seem to find a setting for this anywhere, though. Can anyone point me in the right direction? :)

Yea, the paging lag is the only thing from stopping me from completely. I can deal with no pet bar, making macros for it will do, but the 1-2 seconds of lag everytime I page is making me lag too much to use in a combat situation.

I believe I have tracked down the cause of this, though the fix may take a while. Most recent version uploaded has dreamlayout and borderless button styles (don't use with cyCircled). It has a fix for macros changing around when you add/remove macros (calls them by name now instead of by number), a fix for some fade in and fade out bugs, and I hope a fix for the issues when hearthing/teleporting across zones.

As of r32354, I'm experiencing zero lag. Awesome job! :D
This easily secures InfiniBar as my favorite bar addon. Thank you very much :)

Few minor issues that I can think of:

I like the whole "green border around buffs" thing. I also like CyCircled. The two don't seem to play well together - can anything be done about that?

Cooldowns seem to ignore page switching now - at least with CTRL-paging. I haven't had a chance to test stances yet. I don't think this used to be a problem? I'll post more later, when I think of it. Thanks again for the awesome work! :)

JJSheets, possible bug, or maybe it's simply my overexhuberant use of the bars already :P. Have 28 buttons i have setup that are set as a stance bar so they switch based on my druid stances and everytime i switch i get a 1-2 second pause while it's shoving in those buttons.

I'm having the same problem. Haven't tested with stances yet, but it does that for my CTRL-page.
Unfortunately, the spike is big enough to prevent me from using this on my main - can't afford that lag for stuff like fear-dancing. Apart from that, I'm all over this addon - best bar mod ever. I'm loving it on my alts.

Another, significantly less critical issue I've come across, is that there seems to be no feedback on button presses. Generally bar mods have had some sort of graphic overlay as soon as you're pressing the key (independant of actual skill activation). Sometimes I'm in doubt if my key-press actually registered or not.
It's not a huge deal, and I imagine it'd only worsen the performance issues, so... might not be worth it.

    Oh, and a feature request:
For starters, it'd be awesome to have a list somewhere of which text subs (like [key] and [itemcount]) are actually available. Maybe I'm just an idiot and missed it, or maybe there aren't others than those two yet. A tooltip, or something, in the UI would be perfect.
In addition to that, one text sub that would be specifically useful for me: Would it be possible to put in the cooldown count for a skill other than the one in the button?
I have a macro that uses both Revenge and Shield Block. I like having it display Revenge so that I can always see when it's available, but it'd be awesome if I could also see my Shield Block cooldown on the same button.

Again, awesome, awesome addon. Looking forward to future versions. Hope something can be done about that page-switching lag.
