Thanks for the tip (LitheTooltipDoctor), seems like it hasn't been updated in a while though, just like TinyTip I like very much.
I wish in the future more work would be put into default CowTip layout(s), currently it simply displays too much by default, hard to quickly pick up wanted details in middle of action. While it is true that CowTip is very customizable, there are us that "just want it to work" without unnecessary hassle.
Bundling, say three different default layouts would be great community service; minimal, normal and informative.
Hopefully the health bar bug will get sorted out in the near future. I kinda liked to have CowTip's own health and power/mana bars, but that extra health bar is just too annoying.

Dec 3, 2007CowTip by its default settings displays way too much information, so I just switched the edit lines off. Having the tooltip follow mouse cursor is enough for me.Posted in: General AddOns
Unfortunately when I do disable edit lines, CoWTip displays two health bars. The health bar that is dislayed on bottom, can't be disabled from any settings I've tried. If either power/mana or the other health bar is enabled and on bottom, they overlap each other.
I really want to get rid of the other health bar that seems to be a remnant from default WoW tooltip. How do I do it?
Sep 19, 2007I've replaced ArcHUD with OnScreenHealth and Quartz now. After noticing that I can use Niagara to configure OnScreenHealth, it was a breeze to get it to my liking. Definitely liking this setup now. Thanks.Posted in: General AddOns

pretty sure archud2 has options to turn on enemycastbars
Yeah, it does but doesn't seem to work. Even deleted the settings file to revert back to defaults, made sure it is enabled but mob abilities with casting time didn't appear in the HUD.
IceHUD I didn't like.
I'll give this OnScreenHealth a try when I'm back at home. Does it have casting bars as well? Didn't spot this mentioned in the official OnScreenHealth topic.
Sep 18, 2007Is there an addon in http://files.wowace.com/ that displays player's and target's health/mana and castbars, but is not a full fledged unitframe (they are a pain to set up to my liking)? I've used ArcHUD that has done the job, but it does poor job when it comes to castbars, enemy castbars it doesn't display at all.Posted in: General AddOns
Thanks for any pointers.
Aug 24, 2007I just recently rolled a druid, only to notice when I gained my bear form that bars are not paging correctly when switching between caster and bear form. What's up with this?Posted in: General AddOns
I searched only to find several notes about aquatic form, what does it have to do with Bartender3 not paging correctly?

Do the other people run a mod with Threat-1.0 libs installed or KTM?
A few may have been running KTM but majority had not threat meter addons installed. I thought it wasn't a requirement since Violation parses threat from my own combat log?
Also, threat was working over a month ago but I'm not entirely sure when it stopped working because I had the mod disabled until recently. :(
Aug 4, 2007I have a problem with Violation, it is not showing anyone else except my character on target threat and global threat meters. All other meters work as they are supposed to, but aggro meters show only my own character.Posted in: General AddOns
I've had this problem many weeks now, I thought it was a bug in some build(s), but it has not been resolved. Any ideas why this is occurring? Thanks.

On WoW load, Violation says it doesn't find Parser 3.0, I have inspected it and this is the problem:
On line 3 of ThreatLogger.lua from Threat-1.0 it declares the Parser-3.0 lib, but it is not included on embed.xml
I think the better question is; does anyone have any idea when LoD modules are sorted out and parser/threat libraries embedded into Violation? Are we talking about days, weeks, months, or *gasp* years? :)
Also, I'd like to know what's the deal with Violation_CombatLogRange and Violation_EffectiveHealing? Are those seperate addons because of the aforementioned LoD module sorting, will they be merged into Violation or will those stay as seperate addons? Also, is Violation_CombatLogRange safe to use or would increasing combat log range have undesirable side effects?
