Have you tried FuBar_MagicMarker? It might be ok but I can also see the benefit of a frame like that.

Haven't tried it yet but I do use FuBar, so I'll take a look at it. I'd sort of prefer a separate frame though since it's more annoying to click menus in combat than regular buttons.

Any chance you might be able to add a small "remote-control" type frame (with an option to show/hide it) for just a few clickable buttons to Reset Cache, Dump Assignments to Chat, unmark selected target, and mark selected target? It'd be nice to have a clickable alternative to slash commands and keybindings to save me a few macro slots.

An option to set a mob as "kill" rather than "tank" would be nice, but nothing hugely important. (Example: Amani'shi Scouts in ZA) Even if this were just a special tank priority that was higher than max normal (Very High) but didn't count for min # of mobs tanked.

Primarily as a healer the current implementation of Omen isn't very useful to me. The main problem is that I have to tab around to see threat where I used to see threat even when nothing was selected. As a healer I've got most everything set up to not require me to target things (Click cast for instance), this allows me flexibility in targeting - I don't have time to target around to see the threat. Hoping a better healer view is implemented soon!

The root of this is that the old Omen wasn't actually showing you threat - it was showing you a guess at threat, based on attempting to combine threat for multiple different mobs and whatnot. Since the new Omen can provide exact data for a specific mob, in single-target mode that's exactly what it does. Since you don't have a mob targeted, it has nothing to show you threat for.

If you want threat for tank targets, try having your raidleaders set up maintanks either in oRA2 or blizzard maintanks, and using Healer mode.

I've also suggested to Antiarc that it be possible to have single-target mode draw its unit id for threat from your focus target if you so choose, so that you could focus on a mob and see threat on that mob without targeting anyone.

    posted a message on Recount
Hey Elsia, following experiences with the yellow system message "There is no player with '_____' playing." and reports from others that they'd been having the same issue (especially in BGs, but also when logging onto raids with offline people), I did some experimentation with selectively disabling addons and was able to narrow down the cause to Recount.

It occurs repeatedly in battlegrounds (generally spamming 10+ messages for various players in the BG who are not on the same realm as I am), and (although I've not personally experienced this) also sometimes in raid groups with offline members.

Can you see about taking a look into any code that might be trying to communicate with other players but not checking if they're on the same realm, or offline? Or failing that, add an option to disable Recount automatically in battlegrounds?
