    LOL!

For the transparent image ( I use GIMP) lemme see... (breaks out photoshop which has collected so much dust)

as for finishing the image you have to create an alpha channel and then highlight what you want turn it white blah blah blah

as where if you made this in gimp all you have to do is save it. no alpha channels needed.

and ty seerah and kagaro <3

Yes, but I firmly believe that my topless men should be separate from my WoW pwnage. Difficult to devote full attention to keeping people alive if there's, um, swordfighting, going on right next to the health bars. :)

Not my fault I find her beauthiful :/

As for your picture. You don't need to resize your picture at all :P Just create a 512 x 512 transparent image. Open your picture, cntrl + x (or just go to the menu and cut) then paste it on your new 512 x 512 image. Save and viola!

Wonderful, I'll try that now. :)

Oh, How do I create a transparent image?
File - New - Blank File - Far down I choose transparent image, is this the right thing?

When I'm saving it and re-open it, it is like it was before I tried transparent.

No; wikipedia has a handy table of powers of 2.

If the original image dimensions are, say, 800 x 600, but you want to display it in a 400 x 300 area in-game, try resizing it in Photoshop to 1024 x 512. It will look distorted when viewed at its actual size, but that's fine. When you resize it again in-game it will look fine, since it's smaller.

Well, I tried to put this picture in 512x256 I think it was. (May have been reversed what I said.)

When I use it ingame, all I can see is white color. If I try to Tile Background I can see many of that picture, that works, how ever they are tiny and many.

If I remove Tile Background again, all I can see is the white.

There's a handy guide right here at WowAce! StormFX wrote it and there's more info in the replies as well.

Awesome, now I got it to work.
But how do I resize a picture that is for example 1024x1024 to 512x512?
And after you have resized it, how do you know how big the picture is? Any way to look which size it is?

If you created the texture yourself, make sure it meets the critera for WoW textures; e.g. its actual dimensions are powers of 2, it's not saved with compression, etc.

Oh, I bet that is the problem.

Mind tell me, as I am a dummy? :)

    //Interface//AddOns//textures//blabla.tga

I'm making my box and config it and I use the blabla.tga picture.
Also doing /reload and than nothing have happend with the box, it is still the same way it was before.
Could it be because I got mac, that I can't find the picture through using //?

    Help is needed.
