My latest UI, not quite happy with textures on frames, i'd like to make them match my bottom block but can't find a way.
Left and right KgPanels are hidden when recount/omen are hidden.
And i'd love to get rid of those 2 buttons on my minimap...
Halcyon what's your secret?? Yet another gorgeous UI. Please hook me up, at least with your pitbull frames (or is that oUF?).
I still use DetachedMiniButtons... wont get rid of them but at least you can move them elsewhere.
I've never understood the minimalist trend with a lot of UIs theses days. The beauty of WoW is that there is a tremendous ammount of information available to the player and a good UI balances both the view of the world and the incoming information, sliding to one side or another depending on the player's role. A 25 man raid leader needs different information than say a level 63 solo player.
Cold does it well, a perfect 5 man setup. There is nothing cluttered about his UI.
Current shot in action, raid with everything, player, target, ToT, Focus, Focus target, pet, MT and MT targets.
Still have to find out a better and less invasive way to display player buffs and target debuffs :(
I really really like your UI, I'm going to update mine with a lot of the ideas you've used.
The ElkBuffBar buffs and debuffs are a little invasive, but with your screen size it works well.
How are you getting "Target By [17]" in your tooltip? I'm guessing there are some dogtags I haven't discovered yet.
I uninstalled Recount right away but the issue didn't go away. That's why I think my range might still be set at 200 even though I reset it to 10. I don't know if 10 is a valid range, and it could be defaulting back to 200.
Suppression is through SCT actually, so I'm not sure why Prat is so high.
And yes, I only used CPU Profiling to narrow down where the problem was coming from.
I've been having some major issues during combat in 25mans.
CPU Profiling shows TabletLib at 5-15% cpu use at all times.
During combat, Prat jumps up to 10-15% cpu use.
I have two chat/combat windows, with SimpleCombatLog and about 90% of all combat related messages supressed. Could the supression of these be taking up cpu?
The problems started after I tried out Recount, which of course sets CombatLogRangeParty to 200. I've tried setting all LogRanges to 10, but maybe there is a lower limit of 35?
I agree that the configuration is way too complicated. I consider myself very competant when it comes to things like this, but I have yet to understand half of the configuration options.
Maybe the addon is trying to do more than it needs?
I want to check if target/player/focus has, or is missing a certain buff/debuff.
If conditions are met, assign an animation to play until conditions change.
Having some extra options like rage/mana/energy requirements, or combat/ooc is nice, but until the above requirements are met, I consider this addon unusable. :(
Here's my current UI. I try and keep it simple... I like to have a few things obstructing my view as possible, while keeping all the needed info available. I play with my mouse locked in mouselook, so everything is controlled with the keyboard (hence the button layout). I use lots of combat macros as well, most of these are bound to my 10 button mouse.
Note the custom cyCircled texture to show what's active. Ugly, yes, but now I always know what stance I'm in and when I'm attacking.
Here's a better example of what my bottom bar usually looks like. I got sick of SCT so I made custom combat log windows with Prat and SimpleCombatLog to show what I'm doing (on the left) and what my target is doing (on the right).
I'm actually pretty surprized that I've never seen anyone else setup their action bars to match their keyboard layout. I just love it. Here are some older attempts.
The middle of the keyboard was always a little awkward to reach so that's where I stuck the map.
And a big thanks goes out to all the Ace developers, who have made my WoW experience infinitely more enjoyable.

Two profiles and switch between them?
If it's any easier, I want my 10 man to be copied from my party frames.

This battle ground map, I used to have it but now it's gone. I thought it had been from a Fubar addon. Any clues on how to get it or enable it again?

Could you post up your background texture on the bottom? I assume it's xArt.

Even when instant sorting is unchecked, items still get rearranged every time something changes. Say I have 4 items I want to sell, arranged as such.
XX
XX
I sell the bottom right one. After it's sold, I want it to look like this, with an empty slot taking the place of the just removed item.
XX
X
But instead, everything shifts so it looks like
X
XX
This shift is painfully slow and should only take place after the inventory is closed and reopened assuming instant sorting is not enabled.
