Skinned Nameplates, FBagofHolding (as requested by Bettarg), Vendor (as requested by shadowrm)
Updated Bongos3 & QuestGuru (as reported by Kerecha) skins
Bugfix for ItemSocketingUI, thanks to Sirian for the code
Thank you for the FBagOfHolding skin, however it seems to be a bit...odd. Each inventory panel will get shrunk down to a small box about 5-6 items wide regardless of the size of the parent frame. Thanks!
May 30, 2008A note of thanks for what seems to be an excellent bag mod. I've tried them all, and have stuck primarily with ArkI up to this point. Your rule-creation system combined with the PeriodicTable support is absolutely top-notch though, and well worth the mod.Posted in: General AddOns
Would it be possible to get ButtonFacade support? I'm not sure if this is even doable, but the one thing I'd love to do is change the inventory icon borders with some of the ButtonFacade skins. Failing that, maybe just some way to use the Tooltip border texture (I use Zork's textures pretty much everywhere). Very minor cosmetic detail, so low priority :)

I certainly wouldn't mind, as making stuff like that easier is exactly why I posted my stuff.
I'd strongly recommend trying to get permission from Norque first, though, if you want to redistribute his artwork in another context.
I really need to clean up my blip pack, post it on the SVN, and start taking submissions for additional textures, but I don't have a lot of free time these days :\
The changes are so minimal, I'm pretty sure anyone here could take your addon and add the LitteExclaim art themselves :)
Mar 24, 2008The best blip set I've seen yet is one not created for Chinchilla. Go to wowinterface and check out the "LittleExclaim" mod. You should be able to take HunterZ's blip addon and customize it to use the LittleExclaim .tga file instead. I could probably post a zip of the customization already done, but didn't want to tread on HunterZ's and Norque's (LittleExclaim author) work.Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns

Where do I pull the info for the PT sets?
I actually just opened up the .lua files for the PeriodicTable lib that is bundled with Ark to find the available sets. You don't have to 'know' lua to be able to read those files - the set names are pretty obvious. :)

I had been using it for awhile, but when the drastic changes were made and you had to set up your own rules..bleh, I'd rather have the predefined rules and choose them from a list.
As it turns out, it isn't really hard to still just use PT3 sets and whip up a few basic rules and get going. The wowace wiki page has some good starter rules.
Sep 2, 2007Benea - that font is absolutely perfect. Where did get the Avant Garde font from? Photoshop? I've found a few Avant Garde fonts out there but not sure which matches yours (gothic, booktype, etc).Posted in: General Chat

Well, then you'd have the chance for false-positives. Say a quest item is "Cloth of the undying love" or something, which isn't a mat for a tradeskill or whatever. Or a piece of armor with cloth in the name: "Depleted Cloth Bracers" would then be placed in that rule. There's a plethora of items with 'cloth' in the name that, well, aren't the actual 'cloth' he was referring to.
'Bandage' has less chance for false positives...but it would also include "Manual: Heavy Silk Bandage", because it has bandage in the name. Or the grey item "Crusted Bandages", which is just vendor trash.
In general, I use pt categories when possible. Much less chance for false positives, because that database is maintained, and if you find an error, you can go post in the thread and sooner or later someone takes care of it, or if you have SVN access you can quick fix it yourself. In fact, if I knew how to get SVN access, I'd take care of it myself, too.
Also, unless you had 'name(bandage)' as a higher priority than 'name(cloth)', some of the bandages would be in the cloth category. "Runecloth bandage" would be put in 'name(cloth)' if it had a higher priority than 'name(bandage)', since it matches both. The PT categories clearly and completely separate the two.
As to why it doesn't 'work', it's because I'm assuming you have the pt rules you quoted AND the name rules you suggested, but put the pt rules at a higher priority. Whenever an item matches multiple rules, it gets sorted to the one with the higher priority (hence the reason for being able to set priority in the first place, since most items will fit multiple rules).
Hehe, all very true and I agree. However, if I have as my ONLY rule name(bandage), it doesn't work. At all. This was the confusion :)

This works great, and is probably the 'right' way to do this. But I'm curious why the simple
"name(cloth) or name(bandage)" doesn't work? Using this rule has no effect (even if simplified to "name(cloth)" alone, it still adds nothing).
Mar 31, 2007My kingdom for being able to resize eePanels via mouse, instead of by entering positioning by value. I love what eePanels can do, I just lack the patience to try to get tons of boxes sized properly :)Posted in: General Chat

You can hold down the CTRL key (I think its control, may be SHIFT) and it will only enable that addon, not its dependencies
True, but I think the request is to enable only required deps, not optional ones (maybe with ALT or something?).
Also, I would suggest lifting Rophy's description of how to use rMCP/ACP from wowinterface. Using 'sets' vs. 'profiles' didn't really click with me until I read his description, and now I love it (after being nothing but frustrated before I understood it).

I know this isn't exactly the thread for this but I was wondering if anyone might have some insight into my dilemma. I can't get mods to disable, neither with the addons menu at log-in, nor with any of the in-game control programs (acp, mcpFu, Modmenutufu). At first I thought I had more than one of these installed and they were overlapping but that wasn't the case. Then I tried swapping them out one at a time and I just can't get any of them to work. I also deleted all of the blizzard defaultUI stuffs so they could be regenerated. Not really sure what else to do at this point cept kill my WDB and WTF folders again and see if that helps. :\ Any ideas?
Not sure which mod does it, but your Addons.txt file is corrupt. Open it up and delete the line with ":enabled" in it. That will fix you up.

the best i would say ;)
Names and links people... all searches for 'All in One' bag mods bring up only the old Sarf AIOI mod, which looks nothing like that. Point us in the right direction ;)
EDIT: Okay, I'm just a dope. It is 'Baggins'. I didn't realize Baggins had such an option for that layout (I may have used an older version that didn't have it). Changes my whole opinion of the mod, so am trying it out much more closely. So far it is quite slick!

Mine 95% ACE
Well, let's see... we're on wowace.com, in the thread titled 'UI Screenshots...'. He posted a screenshot (okay, a premade interface), indicating he's using mostly Ace mods to do it. Which makes him a lot more on-topic than either of us.
