    Sorry I haven't had a chance to look into anything. Real life intervened a bit. Changed application frameworks on the "real" project I'm supposed to be working on, and had to spend a lot of time getting back up to speed. Anyhow, I hope to have commited a few bug fixes to SVN by the end of this weekend. :)

    Hmm, current SVN version seems to get confused sometimes - it APPEARS that occasionally not all units are being displayed that should be. I'm trying to track down whether this is even happening, and if so, why. :-(

    Just tried this in a ZG run. Bloody brilliant. :)

    Thoughts:

    1) It might be nice to be able to move the alert frame. A friend of mine I've converted to Squishy found that the alerts were over his ToT frame. He used DART to move the alert frame, but there needs to be a better way. The fact that Squishy use CT_RA_WarningFrame if it exists complicated the matter though. Does CTRA have a way to move its alert frame already?

    2) The green "H" to indicate someone getting healed is pretty cool. It would be nice to have some indicator as to which of those (if any) is my heal though.

    3) The new frame reuse feature is great. Not having units jumping around is really nice. However it would still be very nice to have an indicator as to which unit currently has the highest priority. Color coding bars based on priority rather than health (as I believe it currently works) might also help.

    4) Working in solo mode and maybe party pet support might be nice...

    5) Didn't see any bugs.

    Try the current SVN. I believe I've fixed that error.

    Semester is finally over, so I'm fairly free over the summer. I'll see what I can do to help this mod progress. :)

    I've been fiddling with this a bit, and it looks good. Questions/concerns/suggestions:

    • Party support is badly needed. Should be easy to add, and I might hack that in at some point if nobody does it before I get around to it.
    • AceHeal support is important, but I see Kyahx has already written an AceHeal plugin to handle that. I'll test it but it looks like it should work well.
    • How would I go about grabbing the unitid of the unit at the top of the list? I thought I saw how to do it, but my attempt failed completely. :)

    I'm definetly looking forward to seeing it on SVN. I've been using squeaky wheel for ages, and I'm not particularly happy with it. What you have so far looks like awesome, and I'd love to help.

    I also very much understand what you mean about removing features. :) Unfortunatly, I'm quite unfamiliar with how to implement modules myself...

    That's pretty cool, actually.

    As a priest, it's not very useful to me, but I have a tank friend who might be very interested.

    If you get it to a hallway useable state upload it somewhere - the SVN say...

    Heh, you're right. Edited my post to be clearer - I'm not talking about a universal "this addon will suck and not solve any problems", juist a "this addon won't solve the problem it's designed to solve for a fair chunk of the intended audience". After all, once you start having to write stuff down on scrap paper to keep track, why are you even running a raid tracker addon? :)

    It would be nice. My guild uses Freddy's modifed CTRaidTracker for DKP, but it's ugly, clunky, and doesn't even work very well...

    • Need to record who received an item, and record a DKP cost on the fly for that particular item. (We use open bidding, with no set item costs.)

    On this one I disagree, this is the work for DKP management addon. RaidTracker just must record who/what/when.

    If you aren't going to record the price the item went for, why even record who received it? Neither piece of informatiion is of the slightest use without the other. To my mind, the point of a raid tracker addon should be that it will track what happens so that you have the required information to calculate DKP at the end of the raid.

    Edit: Of the slightest use to us, and other guilds who use similar systems. As I explained in my first post, we use open bidding to distribute items.

    • Need to be able to issue a "raid starting" command and record the name of everyone in the raid. (We issue on time DKP points.)
    • Need to record the name of everyone in the raid when a boss is killed. (We issue DKP for boss kills.)
    • Need to record who received an item, and record a DKP cost on the fly for that particular item. (We use open bidding, with no set item costs.)
    • Need to be able to change who received an item, or designate if it was banked. (We distribute BoEs after the following boss kill.)
    • Need to be able to issue a "raid ending" command and record the name of everyone in the raid. (We issue end-of-raid DKP points.)
    • Needs to be able to spit out the XML strings EQDKP wants.

    Wowguru sorta has XML...but not really. Look at the XML for the +18 healing on the gloves of prophecy:
    http://www.wowguru.com/db/syndicate/spells/increase-healing-18-id9406.xml

    Closest it gets:
    <description>
    Increases healing done by spells and effects by up to 18.
    </description>

    That's totally useless - it hasn't been parsed to determine the effect type and the effect ammount. :( I'm currently adding spells manually. I've picked up 83 so far - mostly +healing, mp5s, or +dmg, since the focus of my project is related to priests. When I'm done I'll post the info I've gathered somewhere so people don't have to duplicate the effort. :)
