Wowinterface has changed their site to require login to view addon details pages temporarily. This seems to have broken the ability to update from there with jwow. It also only shows the addon ID as the name for an addon on the handled tab using wowinterface as the download site.
I also tested delete before updating with ACP from wowace and still the textfile I placed in there to test it remained.
Tried testing version 2.0 with ACP from the wowace site, still doesn't seem to be deleting before updating as the text file I put in the addon folder remained, even after changing the version of ACP on JWU so it would update again.
I gather from attempting to use the curse client that it has no support whatsoever for proxies? Looks like I'll be manually updating all addons then as up till now I had been using jwowupdater to update my ace addons as it works on an authenticated proxy.
I've noticed that when it updates Cartographer it puts the modules for it inside the cartographer folder. This causes errors as these folders are also in the addons directory. I've been having to delete them from in cartographer's folder. Should I remove them from the addon folder instead?
Version 1.23 has been released. (Couldnt wait till after last exam, had to code something :)).
New features:
Install / Delete ui has been changed to use a table instead of the old list. Also added ability to filter listed addons using a custom text input. So you can for example enter "baggins" and you will only see addons with the text "baggins" in its name or description.
Proxy users should now be able to enter a username/password which should enable authenticated access. (Someone that actually has to enter username/password please test this, as i dont have any proxy avaliable to me that requires auth).
Fixes:
Updating list now only shows x/y for actual addons being updated instead of for all installed addons.
A non needed update of the list of known addons was removed.
Other minor adjustments and fixes. (Random stuff ive made while being bored).

It comments out Waypoints in cartographer for one, with not using split LoD addons..
It also comments out OneBank.xml in the OneBank addon, even tho the file does exist.
Those are just two examples *I* know about..
Ill try and take a closer look to why this might happen.
With proxy and auth turned on:
4:14:19 PM: Exception: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 407 for URL: http://files.wowace.com/latest.xml
4:14:19 PM: Updating installed addons data.
With proxy on and auth off:
4:39:26 PM: Getting online addon list.
4:39:26 PM: Exception: java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 407 for URL: http://files.wowace.com/latest.xml
4:39:26 PM: Updating installed addons data.
Doesn't seem like it is using the ID/pass that is entered?
Have Java 6 update 1 and still get this error that was mentioned before:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/jdesktop/layout/GroupLayout$Group
at jwowupdater.Main.<init>(Main.java:26)
at jwowupdater.Main.main(Main.java:89)
Edit: Found the issue, apparently the swing layout jar needs to be in a lib folder for it to work.
Another question, is it possible to use this with a proxy that asks for a password? Appears not...
ItemsRack, I was under the impression that you had to switch each item "manually" in that, no full gear swap using one button?
Itemrack does have item sets, it's not that easy to figure out though. It does not have automatic set switching like wardrobe does though, yet. Once it gets some more features I might switch but for now wardrobe is better.

...ItemCompare, the replacement for EC...
Itemcompare looks nice but it IS NOT a replacement for equipcompare as far as I'm concerned, now if it had the stat comparison along with the tooltip like EC has (perhaps with option to choose whether it appears or not?) I might use it instead :P
I dont like telltrack's new thing where it makes it's own chat tab and makes you switch to that when you click someone's name on it, I liked how it used to work, where you click the name and it just opened a whisper to them :(
When I had Opera I always used the mouse gestures (RMB+left/right) to go forward/back. Then when I got firefox I just installed the AIO gestures addon so I could do the same thing. You might want to try that. ;) (there's probably an addon to let you do the right-left click thing too)
Oh and on the searching thing, g and the text to search for works for me in firefox.[/url]

Yeah I <3 monkeybuddy. The quest info on tooltips is probably my favorite feature.

Oh and how is EC broken? I've had no problems.
