I've been trying to dupe this for a few days... as near as I can tell he's using some of the NeavUI stuff -- the buffs and map at the very least -- and a hacked up version of oUF_Phanx (he's moved stuff around and hacked in a raid frame). It doesn't really look like NeavUI cooldown/buttons so it could be pretty much anything with ButtonFacade ThinSquare. I haven't quite found a casting bar, tooltip, or nameplates that really match, yet, though. All in all I just think it's fantastic and I'm with you, I so hope twin2 takes pity and uploads it, because it's the perfect marriage of Neal's and Phanx's stuff.
This is one of the cleanest, simplest, easiest-to-read UIs I've seen. No clutter, everything matches, and still manages to look like Warcraft. All you need is GreedBeacon to clean up your chat roll spam. :P Kidding! Love it. Let us know if you end up uploading it intact somewhere!
More than suitable for every day use. I had tried it when you first released, and moved over to it entirely last week, no regrets no problems. It's working wonderfully, and I'm quite happy that you decided to support nonstandard plugins (if only because there were a few I couldn't figure out how to manually update myself).
I also wanted to say, I am not experiencing X-buZZ's two issues at all. Left and right clicking of various mods that support it (like Traveller's Reference, Bagsy, Wallet, cargHonor etc) work just fine, and the primary benefit of this mod is that unlike the 'lego-block' displays, the lengths adjust on their own with no overlap at all, for the types of mods you'd expect (again like Traveller's Reference, Broker Factions, etc).
It pretty much functions like FuBar, though the bar doesn't populate with mods on its own, which can be considered a blessing. Really well done, thank you for responding to those of us who wanted a bar-style LDB display!
Most great works of art that lack those qualities, though, are either great works of art because of a historic rather than aesthetic nature, or adhere to one school or another that intentionally defies tradition or distorts realism. Layout design, whether it's a game or newspaper or a table spread, is a combination of form and function. Any part of the form that overly distracts from the function (or vice versa) hurts both the artistry and utility of the design, and the quality of the final product. In other words, if the player keeps looking at straight lines that don't line up and can't readily see a good or post-modern reason for it, the UI has ceased to become a seamless interface to the tool, and has failed at its original goal, no matter how pretty it is.
I actually use Chatter too - but it doesn't have quite the same functionality as ChatAlertsFu to my knowledge, it doesn't reroute (well, copy, really) all messages from a channel into the scrolling text. The loot spam, for example, can be rerouted into SCT messages frame, but I also use it to flash guild chat and so on. Similarly, I don't like Chatter's sound notifications either, and use a totally separate mod for that.
I second the person who asked for it to be an LDB mod - I probably should've too. It's the only FuBar mod I still use, and thankfully it doesn't require FuBar to function.
This is really neat and original! The graphics maybe don't quite match WoW, but who cares, they're still nice. And I love the layout, the UFs and chat placement in particular - catches the eye because it contradicts the norm. It looks so simple and yet I've never really seen anything like it.
All props to Cargor ofc, I use several of his mods, but cargoShip is lua-config only, way over my head. I suspect FuBar refugees are looking for something a bit more customizable and convenient - I certainly am.
And many of the plugins can't be set to left or right anyway, which is even more annoying. Titan still doesn't have height customizability either, or the ability to separate font scale from bar scale.
Part of the problem with, for example, Fortress, is that it's perma-clamped to the screen, making it impossible replicate FuBar unless you're willing to have a much larger "bar". And the contortions necessary to set up three sets of buttons, in a mod that has no standard profiling... /weep.
If someone does tackle this, could you also consider a "hide plugin" option on FuBar, and a way to set a default template so that each character doesn't have to be set up individually? :D As the OP said, this really is a great mod, I've been using it forever.

That said, I really like Neal's UI anyway. :D

A true FuBar LDB is very much needed.
