Jun 18, 2008I think I may have found out why this happens.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
Some of the ACE addons have their own Profile setting, while others do not.
If I choose, e.g. MyChar @ MyRealm profile in the fubar settings. I think I'm fine. But if I look at options of the addons sometimes there's an options "profile". By choosing this profile you'll probably see that it's set to default.
The inconsistency might be the cause of it. I've tried to change the addons with their own profile setting to MyChar @ MyRealm but I didn't have time to test if it worked as intended. But if this is the case of the profile problems it's up to the FuBar addons/extentions to implement the profiling into the FuBar when it exists - as it should be.
Jun 6, 2008No not really. be.imba is much more advanced.Posted in: Addon Ideas
This addon should simply check your raidmembers gears for gems & enchants to see if they are missing or perhaps done wrong.
It needn't be as complex as be.imba though they share some of the same ideas.
Jun 4, 2008I've searched the net and I can't seem to find anything like this.Posted in: Addon Ideas
The addon collects data from the players in your raid within distance via inspect.
The data collected should be gear, gems and enchants.
A collection of useful enchants for specific classes on specific items should be made.
Using the addon should result in a report which states which players has items without gems in it and which players has items without the prefered enchants, e.g. player X's headpiece has no meta gem, or yellow gem. Or player Y's mainhand has no enchant (perhaps "is misenchanted" if not on the collection list but has an enchant).
I would suggest starting out simple with few features and then build on since the huge ideas are often never finished.
I have endless ideas for additional features like, checking for PVP trinkets, perhaps talent builds, including features like buffs checks (which there are other mods for) but those are for later or never.
The mod is of course meant for level 70 players only. There probably have to be some sort of itemlevel check to check wether or not an item should be enchanted, I mean, no reason to use a bunch of shards on a blue questitem you've just got if it's average. Though in some cases blue is not always bad. For instance "Shattrath Jumpers" are blue but they're pretty good and itemlevel 115.
Mar 26, 2008I had the profile issues as described here aswell.Posted in: FuBar AddOns
I simply stopped using FuBar even though I think it's the best bar/panel mod out there.
Now I'm back with Titan Panel and I've added the Rock Addon Config icon to my minimap to adjust/change any settings on my Ace addons which have a large part of.
Sadly the postings show the problem has been here for a while with no solution :(
Hopefully one day it'll be fixed and I'll go back to FuBar.
May 18, 2007Hi there.Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
I've been using Cartographer for a while now and I like it a lot. I've even converted several friends to use it :)
One of my friends recently reinstalled his machine and he lost all of his collected herbalism data. An earliere today I found a site where I could download one of three options; 1) Mining, 2) Herbs or 3) Both. I personally use the mining part.
I just can't seem to find the site now. Does anyone know about this site? I'd really like to get "an updated" map for me and my friend.
