Mar 11, 2009Try this. Keep in mind it only will work on an enUS client.Posted in: Lua Code Discussion
if(dfilter) then local function PostUpdateAuraIcon(self, icons, unit, icon, index, offset, filter, debuff) if(debuff) then for _, value in ipairs(dblacklist) do if (UnitAura(unit, index, filter) == GetSpellInfo(value)) then icon:Hide() end end local name, rank, icon, count, debuffType = UnitAura(unit, index, filter); if (debuffType ~= "Magic") then icon:Hide() end end end end
IIRC patch 3.0 deprecated this and combined UnitBuff & UnitDebuff into UnitAura. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Mar 9, 2009These functions should be able to do whatever you need. Pseduo code.Posted in: Lua Code Discussion
EDIT: Crap, Nevcairiel posted while I was posting. =(
local numRaid = GetNumRaidMembers(); if (numRaid==0) then -- In a raid -- Do stuff else -- In a party or solo -- Do stuff end
Mar 7, 2009I know each individual character has a unique GUID, and that it can only be lost when you either:Posted in: Lua Code Discussion
A: Transfer your character to a different server
B: Delete your character
Are character GUIDs ever reused when it is 'lost' so to speak or are they always 1 more digit higher than the previous number?

I understand that AceConfig supports the checkbox implementation for multiple selection, but is there any existing way in either Blizzard or Ace (or anywhere else) to create the list box version? The typical use case will be to select a range of adjacent options, rather than picking and choosing, so the checkbox version would be inconvenient at best.
Not that i'm aware of, you'll probably have to make it yourself.
In fact, i'm not even sure its possible since i've NEVER heard of or seen this implemented in WoW.

KillLog seems bloated for my needs, i'm going to just edit KillCounter for my personal interface. Thanks for your help!
Mar 5, 2009Looking for an add-on that tracks mob kills separately. I know MobInfo2 does this but it also tracks a bunch of stuff i'm not really interested in. I can make it myself but i'd like to know if anyone already made this already? I'm looking for something like this, that's scrollable, possibly filterable and/or searchable:Posted in: Addon Ideas
Mob Name | Kills ------------------------------- Rotting Slude | 8 Onyxia | 3 Noxious Plaguebat | 24
Thanks in advance,

This error happens when a single function tries to load a table that contains more than 64k keys.
(not positive about the exact number)
Ah, that makes sense. The solutions I read were to clear or reduce saved data in your WTF folder for the addon that has the error, that would reduce the keys below the 64k mark, thus clearing the error.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend though looking back it may seem that way. It just seems to me to be an obscure error and not one that most people can help with.
EDIT: I did a bit of research just now, 'constant table overflow' means your addons have run out of allocated space to store their data (as in, WTF folder) from what I understand.
