posted a message on Help Request: Combatlog moving on /reload when using tabbed chat.
I'm also having the same problem. Me thinks the client somehow corrupts the order/savevar were the info on the chat/tabs are saved when you reload your UI. Even if you remove the combat log and do a reload, it'll pop back.

So either it reverts back to how it was at first login or it goes back to the standard layout (General / Combat Log) which kinda makes the whole point of having the option to order your tabs pointless, that or they somehow doesn't want you to reload the interface at all.

Do you use any nameplate modifying mods by any chance?

Skada is placed just under the Target/'s Target frames (which of course are hidden since I'm not targeting anything). I still need to fiddle with the bgc/transparency and find some kind of class/spell timer.

posted a message on What does the repair.exe actually do (ie is a Mac Version possible) ?
Speaking of how badly things can go I ended up with 2-3 files ~1mb each before Blizzard thought that it was seriously badly damaged beyond recognition. I have no idea what's causing it.

Still... I haven't experienced anything after 3.2. here' my old thread btw. Oh yeah unless I'm mistaken now isn't this just the way it is because (us) Windows users are using FAT or NTFS? Like the file system you have on Mac's doesn't need to be defragmented correct?

    Newest, definitely inspired from Tapestry.

wtb new placement for oCD, but other than that, I'm halfway satisfied with it.

What's your list for these addons? Your UI is gorgeous.

Last time I wrote a ticket I either used /ticket or was it /gm? But for some reason, that all had to go without any reason on why!?

Any ideas on why they removed these commands from the client?

posted a message on Spell/CD tracking?
I've tried out Natur but it also tracks my own all other things and all I really need is a simple bar to track enemy/target/focus or does in the current opposite arena raid/party. SO is there anything out there that might fit my needs?

Natur for example might work if I turn of 99% of all features, add 200 spells to the filter/blacklist but that kinda removes the idea for the purpose of this addon.

So am I still allowed to modify it for "private" use, and perhaps distribute it for none-commercial use? I read a little about it's meaning but I'm still unsure if I can do this or not. To me this this more like bending the rule rather than breaking it.

There, I reverted back to how things were before as for modifying, it's just some toc tweaking to how things were saved. First of all, I thought the localization files were loaded regardless of what local the client is currently running on.

Oh yeah, I did however "disable" some modules from loading up and therefor removing em from the addon(s) as well. Chatter for example has no obvious licensee embedded with it, and neither did any other addon except when I started pulling out localization files, which of course would break the license agreement.

posted a message on Dear addon authors...
Since I started this UI pack of mine, I started thinking of the way some addons were built, namely those with localization for none-English users. Up until now I didn't really care about this but today I started to strip down most of the addons I have.

Now before you go into the "why are you doing this, and it's illogical for none-English users" and so on. I do strip down the core addons in my "interface", such as modules for several addons that I find totally unneeded. And yes, I know it's kinda on the edge of being called idiot and ignorant, so please tell me, what should I do? I actually started replacing several addons since I find this localization "part" a bit odd. Sure it's nice to have this game running in your local language w/ addons on-top. But if since your not probably gonna bother with English I find it kinda unneeded to share this "layout" of mine since probably we'll never talk to each other (that is if we discuss topics and such on the same forum etc...)

I'm not trying to be ego or "English Nao!" but since the majority (excluding China) plays the game on the English localization I think it's best to keep other things with it, such as these addons created by our authors here and there. I know some of "your" addons weren't created with the English localization to begin with, but if that was the case, you wouldn't be here by now would you?

TLDR: Is it okay if I remove/modify some code out of addons?

    posted a message on Skinner
I have a couple of questions regarding Skinner. The first one would be about the "AddonSkins" dir.

What purpose does it actually have? I mean all I want to skin is the default Interface and some other things which actually take care of that themselves. I remember back when Bongos3 (back around the release of TBC) was having some issues with Skinner, but this was mainly used to fix this issue not particularly skin anything right?

I use ButtonFacade myself with Bartender and some custom modified frames and buttons for the default Interface. So I assume that Skinner is obsolete for me in this case? And if that's the case, is it safe to purge that folder, without getting any side effects?

The 2nd question is about the default skinning. I do not use for example the default casting bar, so will Skinner still try to skin it and load code that basically useless for this part? Can memory be reduced if I turn this off in the options?

The 3rd question is about what it actually skins. I saw Ace2/3 there so I supposes it tries to skin the AceConfig found in several addons that share this lib for it's menu/option background for example?

posted a message on Reporting players
Yeah, thanks for the reply's so far. I got IgnoreMore and FriendsWithBenefits, cleaned up the ignore list on all characters etc. Funny though.. now I can report any player without issues unlike yesterday. I don't use any type of player name altering mod/ules except player names (class color etc which should be removed imo)
