Found this while playing with the target buff bars. I assume it's the same for focus. This is with them to the left.
Fixed.

I don't know if it's just me, but the casting bar disappears when I button-mash channeled spells (ie: Mind Flay). It's not so bad since there's a big blue line going at your target so you know you're still casting, but figured I should mention it :D
Fixed.

Please add a latency bar on the left side for channeled spells and change the latency bar so that it is above the normal castingbar.
On the list.

Does it show spell rank?
It does now! ;)

It switches sides just for channeled spells? My embeded latency bar was on the left and fille dthe first part of my cast bar with the current latency...
I may be misunderstanding your question, if you're referring to what I think you are, then it's displaying the amount by which it 'boosted' the cast bar

Regarding the recent update to obey !SurfaceControl: the latency part of the bar continues to use whatever texture was set in Quartz, not the one I set through !SurfaceControl.
Fixed.

Getting the following error with Rev. 35173 whenever I try to cast a spell while getting hit
[2007/05/12 08:39:08-4788-x3]: Quartz-0.1\Latency.lua:119: attempt to perform arithmetic on global 'startTime' (a nil value)
ps: thanks for border: none and the icon gap options, nothing to edit by hand anymore for me ;-)
Fixed.

Hi,
this is a really nice casting bar. I use this instead of the pitpull casting bar now. Since you seem to be somehow involved into the pitbull development, do you think its possible to include kind of a plugin for pitbull that will replace the original pitbull castbar with Quartz? I think the original pitbull castbar lacks a number of options Quartz provides! :)
On the to-do list (ckk actually suggested this just a little bit ago ;) )
Comparing the measured lag (time between spellcast send and spellcast start events) with the ping number provided by the API could be interesting, as well as maybe providing an average of the event-gap lag (since it spikes from time to time for no reason). But for now, it's just for that cast.
noticed one thing about tradeskills - lets say I make 3 bolts of imbued netherweave - the cast bar correctly shows the time it will take to make all three, but the text message is no longer accurate - you create bolt of .. - that only appears once.
no big deal, just wanted to mention it
That's.. very odd. I'll see if this happens for me, but my hunch is that it's not related to Quartz. I hope.
Tried it out for a bit today. I'm really impressed at how great it looks. How you did the GCD spark is amazing.
Thanks a lot :)
However, having a module for target buffs/debuffs doesn't really fit. I believe, on the other hand, that a target casting bar makes more sense.
Well, the new 2.1 API makes it very easy and fast, and I liked the idea of having that stuff semi-integrated with a castbar. The module will cause you no undue overhead if you disable it ;)
I had more comments, but seems like you fix those in the latest changes. Oh wait, please add border options. I wrote InFlight to have decent border options if you want some ideas.
Will do, thanks.

Nice mod will u be adding a target castbar, mirrorbar and Focusbar or is it just castbar only?
Mirror bar is planned, target and focus bars are likely (it's modular, after all!)

Tried it too, would love a mirrorbar and target/focus castbar modules too.
After I had to edit the .lua to fit my optical needs... two other request
* let us set the alpha value on the colors (especially the border and background colors) too. That would be an easy way to get rid of the border too if someone don't like it - like me (edited the lua for now) ...
* let us reposition stuff with x/y offsets - without border for example, the icon would be too far away of the bar (just edited the lua too for that)
See screen for the look I got after getting rid of the border, and moving the icon a bit to the bar - like that more than the default look (fits better with those many candybar bars), but if those options aren't coming, I can continue to edit the lua on updates.
I'll see what I can do for some proper offset options.
See the wiki page for a (hopefully) up to date list of modules. As of this edit, the modules are as follows:
Latency: Displays the amount of time spent between cast send and start events, which helps in canceling casts when they will not actually be interrupted.
Global Cooldown: Displays a tiny spark-bar to show your Global Cooldown near the cast bar. (visible below the bar in the second above screenshot.
Buffs: Display of target and focus buffs and debuffs as duration bars. Note: this module requires WoW 2.1
Tradeskill Merge: Merges multiple casts of the same tradeskill item into one big cast bar.

I'll add that to the to-do list. Have you found that the addon you linked is generally very accurate?
/quartz, click on Global Cooldown, and enter a spell name under Primary Spell -- make sure it's spelled the same as it appears in your spell book.
Thanks for all the compliments, I'm glad you all enjoy it. :D

* Use your initial find to capture the price data as well, instead of using both a find and a match.
* Maybe split the price data into a few different strings.. maybe like this:
0
Also, does it go away when that unit's auras change?
