Jan 29, 2007Greetings,Posted in: Addon Ideas
I'm SpiffyJr, the author of phpRaider (http://www.phpraider.com), which is the predecessor to phpRaid. Previously, there was an addon called phpRaidViewer for phpRaider (http://ui.worldofwar.net/ui.php?id=2009) by Bulliwyf to allow importing of data from the website to in-game for auto invitations of raid members. It seems Bulliwyf has retired or is no longer playing and the phpRaider community is in need of an addon to do what phpRaidViewer did. I'm requesting someone to crete an addon because I currently do not have the time to learn LUA. I will provide the author with any information they need as well as a free charter membership to phpRaider so they are able to test the latest versions. I will code any PHP required and layout the SavedVariables.lua file however you wish. If you are interested in helping with this project please post here or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sep 13, 2005Posted in: Addon IdeasQuote from "Random" »phpRecap, phpRaid? They sound exciting, please do explain.
They're on curse-gaming.com at the moment.
I'm late for class so I'll have to view the rest of this later.
Sep 13, 2005I know a few languages but LUA isn't one of them. Once I start developing my phpRecap addon to go with my web-based script I'm sure I'll come back around and fix that wardrobe problem because it really annoys me too.Posted in: Addon Ideas
Sep 12, 2005Wow, I didn't think that little modification would make it all the way over here to the kings of coding themselves. Personally, I deal more with PHP/MySQL right now and dabble in a little C++ coding. I'm currently working on a project that incorporates both PHP and LUA to let guilds sign up for raids online and then be auto-invited in game. I know little to nothing about the LUA language but simple hacks like the one listed here aren't a problem. I'm not new to coding but I'm sure I'll have problems when it's time for me to code up the LUA addon. I'll be sure to ask questions here because it seems like the "good" programmers hideout.Posted in: Addon Ideas
