posted a message on A simple Raid Inviter with Attendance
    Hello!

My guild doesn't use sign ups of any kind and we do try to rotate players for raids, but that's sometimes hard for one to do.

I was imagining a simple addon with 2 panels
LEFT PANEL - displays all the guild members online (except the ones in the right panel/raid) and the number of raids attended by each
RIGHT PANEL - displays the players that will be invited to raid along with their attendance
    SEE BELOW:

    -------------------------------------------------------------
    | Online | | Raid |
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    | Player1 (20) | | Player3 (10) |
    | Player2 (60) | | Player5 (5) |
    | Player4 (32) | >> | |
    | Player6 (25) | << | |
    | | | |
    -------------------------------------------------------------
    | INVITE SET ATTENDANCE |
    -------------------------------------------------------------
The numbers in parenthesis are the number of raids attended by that player as recorded by this addon. The idea is to select in any way the players from the left panel, then press >> to add them to the raid panel and viceversa via <<. The UI should retain it's data if it is to be opened at a later time.

At the end, pressing INVITE will issue invites to all in the raid panel.

The Raid Leader should press SET ATTENDANCE (or CONFIRM, whichever sounds better) at the end of the raid and increment the attendance for the members in the Raid panel.

Thank you for your time, I'm looking forward to the replies. I will gladly provide further info if asked.

Hello there, I am a mage and I have a bit of a problem with the way the critical % is being calculated for fireball: it also takes into consideration the fireball ticks.

52 crits out of 118 fireballs, not out of 246 :P

I'm sure there's a way to ignore the ticks when calculating the crit% :)
    Thanks!

I'm sorry, in fact it's not possible at all, Blizzard clearly doesn't want this to be possible, the API needed won't return the remaining time of a debuff if the debuff was not casted by the player himself...
If I've read the API doc more carefully I wouldn't have lost 2.5 hours tonight :'( everything is working except I can't get the data I need, I could do a chronometer but it won't be accurate...

AKDF found a nice way around this, so I withdraw my suggestion.
Edit: I presume it's because on Kalecgos the curse jumps from one person to another and the combat log makes it seem like it's the players themselves cursing.

Sorry if it was suggested a few pages back, I don't really have the time to check: how about counting the portals at Kalecgos? Raid being busy with all there is to do there, it will help a whole lot if the portal messages would contain the portal number as well (from 1 to ... I dunno ... 7? or more).
    Thanks :)

What can be done rather easily is to display the remaining time of a debuff, the only downside is that it would take a little bit more CPU resources to update the MUFs. But I think I'll do it as soon as I get some time :)

Thanks for considering it :) You might want to make this optional since it's not always of much use especially if it's that CPU intensive ;)

Hello there, /thumbs up for the addon, made my mage's life a lot easier ever since MC 2 years ago :D

I'd like to ask for a feature. Playing with Kalegcos in Sunwell I thought what if Decursive could add a nice little timer on the miniframes. Simply a timer that starts whenever the person gets a curse/debuff and ofc displays on that person's square. Do you think it could be done?

    Thanks :)

posted a message on AutoBar by Toadkiller (official thread)
    Hello there.
I play a mage and I have grown fond of Autobar ever since a few months ago. The old version worked fine, I had to problems with it, however the new one bugs me.

When I log in, I conjure a few mana stones using autobar's conjure buttons. Everything displays ok, I mean I can see the mana stones and the mana potions in the Recovery group. With the latest version I see that if I use a gem it disappears from the group, which is great, but the problem still remains: if I conjure the gems again after using them, the potion button gets overridden, meaning I can only see the stones in the Recovery group, no mana potions.

It would be great if this could be fixed since I now have to /reload ui after i finish conjuring the gems.

    Thank you.
