    kinda offtopic here but how does everyone centralize their unit frames and align their unit frames? I'm using pitbull and i'm having a hard time getting them in the middle of my screen, and aligned with one another without using some sort of ruler on my monitor :\

    Look on Wowinterface for an add-on named Align. It draws a grid on your screen that you can toggle on and off.

    thanks!

    perhaps this is a stupid observation... but is pitbull updating correctly via WoW Ace Updater? Pitbull displays incorrectly, produces errors and sometimes crashes my game when i update it via WAU. I then check my addon folder only to find a bunch of Pitbull module folders instead of the one Pitbull folder with all the modules inside... so i delete these and manually update and this always fixes my problem. Is someone having the same problem?

    Its a LOD addon. Its specifically designed to have its modules placed in their own directory. This allows you to disable any features you don't want from the character addon screen and they never get loaded into the game.

    When theyre placed in their own dir Pitbull goes berserk, yet when i update manually and all the mods are inside of the main Pitbull folder it doesnt?

    Do you have an addon manager such as ACP installed?

    If so it could be loading just Pitbull without any o fthe modules, causing it to asplode.

    no, its loading all the modules

    Perhaps you guys aren't understanding me. The zip file in the files page (files.wowace.com) contains ONE Pitbull folder with all the mods inside. This one works great for me. WoW Ace Updater installs Pitbull and its mods in different independent folders (such as Pitbull_Aura for example). This makes Pitbull bug out in different ways, for example it started crashing my game after 2.1.0, then did other random errors etc. I haven't updated Pitbull with WoW Ace Updater ever since as a result and it has worked out great. Is there a reason why both ways of updating / installing have different folder arrangements? Is this a WoW Ace Updater bug perhaps?

    Edit: i just deleted the one folder i intalled via the zip in files.wowace.com and installed the addon via WoW Ace Updater. It's working well.

    Since one of the updates, Pitbull's main module is actually crashing the game on login / ui reload. Turning the module off solves the problem; When the module is on, the crash happens not always.

    I was getting crashes upon login today so i started to switch off Addons... PB is the one causing my crashes apparently. In fact the modules that are causing my game to crash are: Experience, Health, Highlight and InteractLines. All of them individually trigger the crash.

    EDIT: Actually i -think- i just solved my problem. Deleted Pitbull and updated manually without using aceupdater.

    I was having this same issue. I crashed nearly every time I logged into WoW so I disabled every addon and enabled them one by one to target the issue. The issue was indeed related to Pitbull, but I did the same thing and manually updated w/o using Ace updater. Everything worked fine ever since.

    The odd thing is that I can use ace updater on my laptop with the same addons installed and I've never crashed. I am assuming its some type of ace updater bug?

    So now am sure yes its Pitbull :( did the same one by one. By reloading or getting ingame error132 back and without Pitbull after long /reloadui spam and logging coming back ingame didnt got that crash anymore.

    Guess maybe a problem with 3D models or still Aura module or somethg gonna do more test.

    Just delete all the Pitbull folders and reinstall the add-on. It worked for me, no more crashes.

    I've found out why some people might be having problems with their stances or forms. I had the same problem but by slowly adding my mods I've found that Autobar is the culprit behind this bug.

    I'm no coder but I thought I would share with you what I've found so far.

    Confirmed! The newest version of Autobar is the problem. Disabling the addon fixes the paging.

    Have you tried UberQuest Reborn? Look it up on Curse Gaming. It does what double-wide does, its quest tracking is simple and has quest lvls. I am almost certain that it can track more than 5 quests too.

    Just gave it a brief try. The dual-pane implementation was kind of ugly, since it wasn't actually a dual-pane frame, but a second normal frame tacked on. The main thing, though, was that although it provided its own tracker, it didn't replace the Blizzard tracker, either by hiding it or by using the standard tracking functions (meaning that Blizzard's automatic quest tracker doesn't work with it, and I have to check a box instead of ctrl-clicking the title). Seemed less bloated and buggy than EQL, but I think I'll stick with what I've got for now. :)

    Not sure what kind of problem you had, but I used Uberquest up until a while ago (got questfu) and it does indeed hide the blizzard tracker, tracks as many quests as you like (even ones without objectives)

    What I can think of, is that there's actually 2 'fan updates' to the original mod that is no longer being developed, one is practically identical, and one is quite different, by the sounds of it you got the quite different one.

    The one reason that made me switch was that it seemed to comment out the suggested players in quest notes, So I didn't know how many people were suggested once I'd hit accept.

    But other than that, I miss it a lot :(

    Yea, i told him to look for the uberquest "reborn" one. The other one is called Uberquest Modded or something like that. I've used Reborn for a while now though and it works for me so never bothered to check out the other version.

    I read this on a comment which seem to help with the suggested players thing: (this is for uberquest reborn, not sure if it works on the other modded one)

    I found this on a website somewhere and did it. Works perfectly for me! Shows the suggest players right in the quest log pane:

    ====================================
    Add this to UberQuest.lua after line 698:

    if (questTag == "GROUP") then
    if (suggestedGroup > 0) then
    questTag = questTag..":"..suggestedGroup;
    end
    end

    so it will look like this:

    if ( questTag ) then
    if (questTag == "GROUP") then
    if (suggestedGroup > 0) then
    questTag = questTag..":"..suggestedGroup;
    end
    end
    questTitleTag:SetText("("..questTag..")")

    Phanx: you might want to try out Extended Questlog, I think it's going suit you of what you want =p use version 3.6.7b though cuz the latest version, 3.7, have a duplicate category quest bug and couldn't open arena stats window (if you're not arenaing, shouldn't care about it =p, and this bug apply for 3.6.7b as well). And yes, thank you for the fontpack! ^_^

    You're welcome. I used to use EQL, but it just got too buggy. Not only the arena window bug, but also bugs with quests becoming unclickable, bugs with quest titles linking the wrong quests, etc. I believe I tried 3.6.7, and these bugs weren't fixed. It just wasn't worth it. Now I use DoubleWide for the dual-pane quest window (which doesn't break other quest mods the way EQL does), brQLog for quest levels, Blizzard's auto quest tracking, and the only thing I miss is being able to track more than 5 quests at once. For me, unless EQL gets a significant overhaul, it's not worth putting up with the bugs to get an extended tracker. And unfortunately since it seems to keep going through maintainer after maintainer, I don't see that kind of overhaul happening.
