posted a message on Give me back human readable changelogs!!!!!
not sure if these things are connected.

but today i updated all my addons and also looked in the changelog.txt of a few files, and also noticed this new XML format.
now with the latest updates i cant play wow anymore, whenever i press a key to use any macro like

    /startattack
    /cast Shield Block
    /stopcasting
    /cast Revenge

    or

    /cast [help] Intervene; [target=targettarget] Intervene

i get this... "addon blocked from an action only available to the blizzard UI" popup and thus cant use those macros.
i also made an own thread here for this but no replies so far.

well so i assume you changed more than just the changelogs in last yesterdays update?
not even a complete rollback would fix this.

The changelog files are in no way loaded inside the game. So the errors you get are probably from one of the addons you updated.

posted a message on SpellBinder - TBC Actionbar-Free Key Binds
Thanks for making this mod, I'm surprised i didn't see it earlier. I have one dumb question though. Does the key bindings still work even if the mod is disabled, or it needs spellbinder enabled ? I can't log in game to check it out atm, that's why i'm asking :P (i told you it would be dumb!)

    posted a message on oRA2
oRA2_Leader, oRA2_Optional and oRA2_Participant are missing the "## X-Category: Raid" Category definition in the .toc files, when running in LoD mode. Not a big deal, just for organizing reasons :P:P

posted a message on Cartographer Loot-Module Bug?
Same here. It seems that for some reason, the modules deactivate themselves, although the "enabled" is still ticked. If you disable and reanable the instance modules (loot, map, notes) they show up again normally. If you close cartographer and re-open it though, the problem will come up again.

Definitely, it feels a lot more intuitive to have info at the bottom and actions on the side, somehow. It also just makes sense to be able to click on a unit frame and then instantly click on decurse, heal or whatever, rather than moving your cursor all the way to the bottom of the screen :)
Plus I found it's much easier to group buttons into sections such as damage, healing, consumables, buffs etc when the bars are in blocks...
I'm thinking of coming up with something to make the sidebar collapsible when PerfectRaid comes out, so you could have toggleable buttons or unitframes.

Indeed. And it's something more "original" meaning that it's not just another bottom-oskined ui :P I might try do something similar soon (as i said a couple of posts above, i loved this "style" from my eve online days:P), but here's my UI atm, heavily inspired by Sairen:

Error: bad argument #2 to 'format' (string expected, got nil)
    File: Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua
    Line: 2686
    Count: 3

I do get this error too. Basically it pops up every time i or someone else is trying to type something in /say :P

Disable modules in prat until it goes away - then reenable the last module you disabled and see if it reappears. Then we can take it from there.

Disabled all modules and the error still pops up, if disable prat completely and do a reloadui, then the error go away, if i re-enable prat again without any modules toggled on, the error keeps coming.

Is there any way for the mEnemyCastbar to show below the target frame (below the auras) ?

You can by hacking the lua and changing the SetPoint() functions.

    http://www.wowwiki.com/API_LayoutFrame_SetPoint

    Thanks ;) Used "self:SetCandyBarPoint(id, "BOTTOM", aUFunit.frame, "BOTTOM", 110, -40)" and i got it placed exactly where i wanted it:D

posted a message on ag_UnitFrames Collected Bugs, Issues, and Miscellany
From what i saw these days, bugsak pops up logs from tons of "blocked" actions from itemrack and warmup during combat. Maybe that has something to do with the lag i guess.
