So, lcloot is a fairly new addon and it already seems the creator went AWOL. Currently the community on wowinterface decided to do the fixes themselves, including me and we added the needed patch 3.3 code changes. We are currently on a fixed version nº3 and i'm currently trying to see if i can fix a few last remaining problems.

Problem 1: Group Loot module, when the group loot bar appears, a player is able to mouseover the bar to check out the corresponding item tooltip but if a player mouseover the item icon, no tooltip is shown.

Problem 2: Also on Group Loot module, a player is able to see who picked what "option" (need/greed/pass/disenchant) by mouseovering the corresponding buttons and also a number appears above the button to say how many users choose that "option". Currently the problem is that, lets say we have 3 loot bars, a frozen orb and 2 random epics, once i choose lets say, greed on the frozen orb, all the numbers on the remaining bars will disappear. This is probably some bad coding on the OnUpdate part of the addon.

Could anyone have a look at these 2 remaining problems? I'm fairly new into coding and while i do know how to read/edit a few parts of the code, i'm still very fresh on making actual code work.

you can simply click on the loot header to zoom into out of the loot no need to change any settings

I never realized that shortcut existed, great way to do it. I do think perhaps it could be more obvious?

Umm not quite sure what you are trying to say could you rephrase that

What i ment was, lets assume i'm in ICC10 with my guild and i'm browsing the loot tables of a certain boss (with the option turned on to show only the loot from ICC10). At a certain point, somehow i wanted to have a very quick look at the ICC25 loot of that boss for a quick link or comparison. It's currently not possible unless i turn off some settings and it would be nice to have a button that displays the normal view for that boss. (If you now click on refresh a few times, it does the same thing, but it just "zoom's in to the specific loot of that instance)

good idea let me see what i can come up with

Edit: Try out the latest beta (you can tell it to open to the current difficulty loot in the options)

Works lovely here, been testing this week both in toc 10/25 and icc 10/25 and correctly picks the loot tables.

Maybe we could insert a shortcut when displaying the (filtered) loot tables to the main loot table where it displays all the modes for that boss?

Edit: Also, a possible addition for the skull options, maybe a option to disable the "portal" thing behind each skull?

This is pretty much what i expect from a simple boss loot addon, fully integrated into the UI and light on resources.

Is it possible to have a option or even a button while browsing a boss loot within the instance we are running, and make it show only the loot from the category we are doing? (heroic, non heroic, 10 or 25 man and so on)

not full public beta yet, We're hoping to have it ready soon though.

Is there any reason why premium members do not have access to early client previews?

Obviously, it would be something they opted to install or even use, but i think it would be a great "feature" to add to the premium accounts.

Wouldn't mind beta testing it. I'm sure others wouldn't too.

    Feature Request:
    • Copy Chat: Right Click on a Players name would bring up a "Copy Text" option, new frame opens with the complete text for that same chat entry, including timestamps.
    • Disable Fading: Increase chat history on the main frame so we can scroll back X lines.
    • Player Names: Option to color unknown names with the channels color (instead of the default gray)

    Bugs:
    • Player Names: Still have to track down this issue to confirm its chatter related, but at least when joining Battlegrounds, there are several /who requests done and failed.

Tuller, is there any possibility to have a global "Hide Button Tooltips in Combat" or maybe even expand this idea and have a option apply only to a specific bar, including a "No tooltips" option?

Good work on this new version, this is def a huge improvement over bongos2.

The only thing that I really miss is the chatlog module, as a officer from a guild that likes to AFK most of my playing time to read these forums, its handy to have everything automatically logged to a text file in case something happens in guild chat that i need to be aware.

A simple option to log all channels upon login to wowchatlog.txt would be nice to have.

On another note, good work on Chatterbox, loving it so far!
