    posted a message on Dual-Spec LDB-Plugin
Just had an idea for an LDB-Plugin which would help stupid people like me (putting tank gear on might not be enough if you´re still cat-specced :)):

It would allow to assign names to both spec´s (in my case e.g. "Bear" and "Cat"), would show this in e.g. Dockingstation and allow to switch Specs from there.
Would that be possible and if so, much of a hassle to code ?

The GUI is tailored around the BG status and won't change.
    -Ammo

Just tried it in Arathi and really liked it so far.
My BG Status is to the right of my screen...looking at your screenshot from Alterac, there´s information to the right of the BG Status also.
Could you at least consider displaying information only to one side of the bg status ? Otherwise ´d have to put the bg status somewhere more central.

Could you provide more information about each set?

Screenshots say more than a thousand words....

    Bear:

    Cat:

Directly comparing..it seems items with more defense stats are getting rated rather low, just look at rings and pvp-items on bear, compared to the corresponding cat-items.
On the other hand...i just was in an 25-raid on Vault of Acheron and even though many players had an higher ilvl than me, noone came even close to a 400 rating.
Seems to me like bear rating is is on par with other players on about the same ilvl, while cat rating is way too high for that ilvl.

Edit: Really like it a lot...you can just quickly scan those random raids and know what to expect, without having to look at each player by hand.

Nice Addon which gives a quick overview of someone´s gear.
Rating seems a bit odd though...on my feral druid, dps gear with iLvL 213 shows 414,12 rating while tanking gear with iLvL 216 gives 292,70 rating.
Judging by other scores, the 414,12 from dps gear seems way too high.

Death Knights do not support stances. Complain at Blizzard, nothing i can do to "make it work", sorry.

Ah...i was simply assuming that the dk´s presences are handled like the usual stances, e.g. warrior or druid.

I just created my deathknight-twink and bt4 doesn´t show the "Stance Configuration"-Part at all so i´m unable to assign bars to stances.
First i thought it might be because i copied the profile from my mainchar (druid) but even when selecting default or deathknight profile or creating a new one the stance configuration part is missing.

Thanks...now it´s the first time in my life that im not capable of finding the most recent version of an addon myself.
Can´t seem to find it here, on curse or curseforge. The version from wowinterface is from 15.10.2008.
I feel kinda stupid for asking, but where do i get the updated version ?

posted a message on Banzai Alert Error, maybe not Banzai Alert´s fault ?
Since quite some time i always get the following error:

    [2009/01/16 18:52:06-2879-x1]: BanzaiAlert-2.0\BanzaiAlert.lua:5: Cannot find a library instance of "AceLocale-3.0".
    Baggins-Beta 1\libs\AceLibrary\AceLibrary.lua:49: in function `LibStub'
    BanzaiAlert-2.0\BanzaiAlert.lua:5: in main chunk

    ---

Since it does mentions Baggins i updated Baggins to the latest alpha, didn´t help.
I also tried replacing Baggins AceLocale with the one from Banzai Alert and vice versa.
Did the same with Libstub since it´s also mentioned.
I also checked the comments on WoWI and didn´t find anything related.
If if disable Baggins i do get the same Error only not in Baggins but in Banzai Alert itself.
If i disable Banzai Alert, the error is gone.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Excellent Addon. Perfect replacement for fubar/titan, very easy to configure with default settings while advanced options are still available.
A few small things like hide tooltips in combat/tooltip scaling and this will be the data broker addon for people who only want something like fubar without much configuration needed.

Dev said somewheres there's an issue with more than 60-70 mods. They're working on it.

I think what he meant was that some addons were only updated on other sites (WoWI, wowui, etc.). But Curse was still claiming they were updated at Curse and hence CC was overwriting files from other sites with old versions. Or so I read - third party information.

Thats what i meant. On patchday or the day after, e.g. Sct had a working version on WoWI while Curse didnt. I just checked and 6.32 is up as beta on Curse now.
Anyways, i disabled scanning for addons now and synced my addons folder with CC´s addon-list,thanks Allara :).

To be honest, don't expect curse client to find manually installed addons, it works better if you delete (Backup first) you addons folder and start from scratch.

I dont have a problem with CC expecting me to install all adons with it, but then it wasn´t a really good idea to make the move from WoWAce to Curse exactly at patchtime. Many addons which are available on Curse weren´t updated there (and some still aren´t), so it wasn´t possible to install all addons which are on curse through CC.
On a sidenote...if the Client expects me to install/deinstall with it....fine, but then it should ignore manually installed addons completely. At the moment it does somehow scan the addons folder, but randomly picks up manually installed/deinstalled addons or not.

If you have more than 60-70 addons the client start to have issues with finding addons updates. We are correcting this ASAP and will have a fix in a few days.

Does this possibly relate to the client not always recognizing installed addons too ?
When i start CC, it doesnt always recognize Addons i installed manually, same goes für addons i deinstalled manually, CC still lists them.
