I can't stand how Closet Gnome automatically opens up all the Blizzard default bags whenever I try to Add/edit a set. And then it leaves open the main backpack when you are done. Really annoying. Especially if you use something like Baggins' or Onebag and don't use the default bags.

I'm having the exact same issue.

One thing I miss from ItemRack is the ability to assign icons to a set. Being able to tell at-a-glance which set you have equipped is nice.

Control Click on one of the items that you have defined for a set to set it as the set icon. Okay, I said set a lot in there. I think you can do it for any icon on your character frame, so it doesn't necessarily need to be in the set. I have only tried with equipped items in the set however.

Is there anyway to get all these skins Load on Demand or something?

What do you (fellow Skinner users) do when there is an update? Just toss all skin files in and go, pick and choose each time?

If you are using the WoW Ace Updater, you could disable the delete option before updating, if you have that enabled. Myself I just watch WAU to see if skinner was updated, and if it was I just copy the files back to the correct folder. The first couple times it takes a little longer than it should but after a few updates you get into a rhythm. If they were all made LoD the number of entries in your AddOn folder would double, then people would just end up deleting the extra folders. That's my opinion anyway.

Another suggestion I just thought of: make a copy of the files you have in the SkinMe folder, and copy them back into the folder when you update. The only issue with that is if Jncl needs to change a skin file you won't know untill something goes wrong (most likely).

First, thanks for this really useful addon! Now the problem: when I get a skill increase (doesn't seem to matter what skill), it's not reflected in the Manufac menu (neither in the Skill amount, nor in the difficulties of recipes if they've changed as a result). If I reload the UI, Manufac then seems to pick up the changes, until the next time a skill increases. This is with version 30715.

I can confirm this, and with the above version as well. I have noticed that when a recipe does change in coloring, say going from orange to yellow, and you have sorting by difficulty enabled the recipe will move to the appropriate spot, but the list will not update. I was able to test this flawlessly with enchanting, +stamina to shield only requires dream dust, and when that recipe became yellow instead of orange I would click on it and receive the message "Missing reagent: Large Glimmering Shard." That led me to believe that the list had been reordered, but not updated. /rl fixed it easily enough. As there were no line errors I had to rely on descriptions, and I hope that I've helped. Thanks for the great AddOn, it almost makes crafting grinding fun :)

With the new spell tab on the character window, it is important to remember that it displays all of your +healing, including those gained from talents (I'll cite paladins in this example, because I have one). Holy Guidance will increase your +damage and healing, but that won't be reflected on ItemBonusFu as it is not granted from an item.

That functionality exists in retail WoW. Go into your keybindings and you can bind a key to re-tell. It does exactly what you describe in the above.

The key is the password for your DKP broadcast. This is what you need to keep totally secret, known only to the trusted members of your guild who are going to actually be running bids. The less people the better really.

Also I'm not sure if you know but the only thing that is really at risk is your points database. This is what is broadcast with the /dkp bcast command. It's also the only thing people can mess up. If someone without authority does a /dkp bcast it will overwrite everyone who uses DKPmon and thus blow your points out of the water.

As far as the item values and raid values and what not, they are safe. Those values are not broadcast by /dkp bcast. So really all you have to watch out for is someone who might be stupid enough to try to run a bid, with their own item values and such. That would be pretty obvious to any officer because it will say who is starting the bid in the chat box.

Then you just Gkick that fool, and move on.

For myself I never talk about DKPmon to the guild. Only the officers are informed of it and only 3 of them know the broadcast password.

As an addendum to Alaros' post, "hiding" DKPmon is also an excellent way to protect your points database. That is to say, inform your guild to download Bidder, and that is the only mod they need. When you broadcast your points database, see who responds. If you see a name that should not belong tell that person to uninstall DKPmon, as they don't need it. It probably won't be necessary to say "omfg uninstall that you can hack our points with that," just let them know that they will never use it (and that they won't get re-invited to raids until it is gone). In my experience, 30% of the people will download both DKPmon and Bidder, because they see both of them. And should you see someone that does have the DKPmon, don't change your password until you are sure they have uninstalled it. No sense in them receiving another needless broadcast.

Fantastic mod hshh, another Ace2 replacement :)

I do have a functionality suggestion that EquipCompare had: the ability to click an item link in chat, then, with the item displayed on your screen, press the modifier key and have the comparison show up. It's the only thing that i can think of that would improve EQC.

One thing I think I have missed somewhere but is DKPmon only for fixed item prices? If not great but if it is then I wonder if it is possible to use actual bidding for items?

it is for fixed item prices. DKPMon takes "bids" from any members interested in the item(s) that droped from a boss, and the person with the most dkp is selected as the winner of that item. the winner can be overruled by the master looter of course, but the mod just checks a list of user points and selects the person with the most dkp.

p.s. please feel free to correct or elaborate on my response if it is lacking :)
