I completely ditched Cartographer in favor of Mapster. It uses far less memory, isn't nearly as CPU-invensive, and doesn't have a bunch of outdated third-party plugins that no longer work.
I tried mapster, but all my hundreds of mapnotes are gone, and many things don't show up (for example, mapster shows ONE mailbox in SW, one Mailbox in Shatt, etc.) there are no vendors marked, no forges, etc.
hmm, guess its time to find a new mapaddon then , cos cart3 is horrible. :(
Hmm, I ran Cart3 on the beta and it ran very nicely. My problem with it was that very little of Cart2 had been ported over, and all my notes were gone. Hopefully there will be more, and soon, since 3.0.2 rolls out tomorrow.
I updated Cartographer on Sunday and it broke severely., The options window comes up completely blank and the map is quiet broken with most waypoints not loaded at all. I rolled back to the version I was running before and everything is back to normal.
Oh I did =) But -technically- moving the folder shouldn't make any difference, and if it did, I'm missing something in my 'folder location' code that tries to take account of whether the folder is within the main cart folder or not =)
I know this is a really old post, but does this mean I can put all the Cartographer_* folders inside the top-level Cartographer?
I don't know about on other servers, but on my server everyone uses armorylight's rating number, so we'll see posts like "Kara Badge run, 2200+ gear rating". It would be useful if you could figure out how armorylight calculates their number and include that calculation as well.
(I think all they do is calc the weighted level for each item/gem and total it up.)
